ปัจจัยคัดสรรที่มีความสัมพันธ์กับการปฏิบัติการพยาบาลเพื่อป้องกันภาวะความดันในกะโหลกศีรษะสูงในผู้ป่วยศัลยกรรมสมอง

Abstract

การวิจัยเชิงบรรยายครั้งนี้มีวัตถุประสงค์เพื่อศึกษา 1) ระดับความรู้ และการปฏิบัติ การพยาบาลเพื่อป้องกันภาวะความดันในกะโหลกศีรษะสูง และ 2) ความสัมพันธ์ระหว่างปัจจัยคัดสรร ได้แก่ อายุ ระดับการศึกษา ประสบการณ์การทำงาน การศึกษาอบรม และความรู้กับการปฏิบัติ การพยาบาลเพื่อป้องกันภาวะความดันในกะโหลกศีรษะสูงของพยาบาลวิชาชีพ จำนวน 203 ราย วิเคราะห์ข้อมูลโดยใช้สถิติบรรยาย สัมประสิทธิ์สหสัมพันธ์ของสเปียร์แมนและเพียร์สัน ผลการ ศึกษาพบว่า กลุ่มตัวอย่างมีความรู้ในการป้องกันภาวะความดันในกะโหลกศีรษะสูงโดยรวม ความรู้ ด้านการรักษา และด้านการพยาบาลเพื่อป้องกันภาวะความดันในกะโหลกศีรษะสูงในระดับปานกลาง แต่มีความรู้ด้านกลไกการควบคุมความดันในกะโหลกศีรษะ และด้านการประเมินอาการและอาการ แสดงของภาวะความดันในกะโหลกศีรษะสูงในระดับน้อย สำหรับการปฏิบัติการพยาบาลเพื่อป้องกัน ภาวะความดันในกะโหลกศีรษะสูงโดยรวม ด้านการประเมินอาการและอาการแสดงและด้านการ พยาบาลเพื่อป้องกันภาวะความดันในกะโหลกศีรษะสูงอยู่ในระดับมาก และพบว่าความรู้มีความ สัมพันธ์กับการปฎิบัติการพยาบาลเพื่อป้องกันภาวะความดันในกะโหลกศีรษะสูงอย่างมีนัยสำคัญ ทางสถิติ จากผลการวิจัย ผู้วิจัยมีข้อเสนอว่า พยาบาลที่รับผิดชอบในการดูแลผู้ป่วยผ่าตัดสมอง ทุกคนควรได้รับการศึกษาอบรมเพื่อให้มีความรู้ทางคลินิก ด้านการพยาบาลผู้ป่วยศัลยกรรมสมอง ทั้งนี้เพื่อการประกันคุณภาพการดูแลผู้ป่วยกลุ่มนี้

This study aimed at investigating: 1) the level of knowledge and nursing practice to prevent increased intracranial pressure among patients with brain surgery and 2) the relationships between the selected factors, including age, educational background, work experiences, training experiences, and knowledge of nurses, and their practice to prevent increased intracranial pressure among patients with brain surgery. The sample comprised of 203 nurses working in the field of neurosurgery. Descriptive statistics, Spearman’s rank, and Pearson’s correlation coefficient were employed for data analysis. The results revealed that the mean score of their overall knowledge for prevention of increased intracranial pressure, treatment, and nursing care to prevent intracranial pressure were at a moderate level, but the level of their knowledge regarding mechanisms to control intracranial pressure, and evaluation of signs and symptoms of intracranial pressure were at a low level. The mean score of overall nursing practice to prevent increased intracranial pressure, nursing practice to evaluate signs and symptoms and nursing practice to prevent increased intracranial pressure were at a high level. However, nurses’ knowledge was related to nursing practice to prevent increased intracranial pressure with statistical significance. According to the findings of this study, it is recommended that nurses who care for patients undergoing brain surgery should be well equipped with clinical knowledge so that it can ensure high quality care.
