dc.description.abstract101 diabetic patients treated with chlorpropamide alone were studied for occurrence of chlorpropamide induced hyponatremia. Three patients had mild hyponatremia but normal serum osmolality and none had symptoms of hyponatremia; 1 patient had serum hypo osmolality but normal serum Na, and this patient sometimes had weakness in both lower limbs during chlorpropamide treatment. 15 patients had non specific symptoms of hyponatremia but laboratory data did not support the supposition that they were due to hyponatremia. The patients' sex and age, the duration and the dosage of chlorpropamide and laboratory data are presented.en_US
