ผลของโปรแกรมการฝึกอบรมการนวดสัมผัสทารกต่อความรู้ และทักษะของพยาบาล

Abstract

วัตถุประสงค์: เพื่อศึกษาผลของโปรแกรมการฝึกอบรมการนวดสัมผัสทารกที่มีต่อความรู้ และทักษะของพยาบาลในการนวดสัมผัสทารก รูปแบบการวิจัย: การวิจัยครั้งนี้เป็นการวิจัยกึ่งทดลอง วิธีดําเนินการวิจัย: กลุ่มตัวอย่างเป็นพยาบาลที่ปฏิบัติงานเกี่ยวข้องกับทารกและเด็กที่เข้ารับการอบรมเชิงปฏิบัติการเรื่อง กลยุทธ์การส่งเสริมสุขภาพทารก การนวดสัมผัส จํานวน 28 คน เก็บรวบรวมข้อมูลส่วนบุคคล และแบบสอบถามความรู้เรื่องการนวดสัมผัสทารกก่อนได้รับโปรแกรมการอบรมการนวดสัมผัสทารก และภายหลังที่พยาบาลได้รับการอบรมกลับไปปฏิบัติงานในหน่วยงานของตนเองเป็นระยะเวลา 1 เดือน พยาบาลจะได้รับการประเมินความรู้อีกครั้งและการประเมินทักษะการนวดสัมผัสทารกจากนักวิจัยโดยใช้แบบสังเกตทักษะการนวดสัมผัส วิเคราะห์ข้อมูลโดยใช้สถิติเชิงพรรณนา การทดสอบค่าที ผลการวิจัย: พบว่า ค่าคะแนนความรู้ภายหลังได้รับโปรแกรมการฝึกอบรมการนวดสัมผัสทารกและกลับไปปฏิบัติงานเป็นระยะเวลา 1 เดือน มากกว่าก่อนได้รับโปรแกรมการฝึกอบรม อย่างมีนัยสําคัญทางสถิติที่ระดับ .001 และมีค่าคะแนนทักษะการนวดสัมผัสทารกภายหลังได้รับโปรแกรมการฝึกอบรมอยู่ในระดับดี สรุปและข้อเสนอแนะ:โปรแกรมการฝึกอบรมนวดสัมผัสทารกส่งผลให้พยาบาลมีความรู้และทักษะในการนวดสัมผัสทารกเพิ่มขึ้น ซึ่งพยาบาลสามารถสอดแทรกการนวดสัมผัสในกิจกรรมการพยาบาลและสอนมารดา หรือผู้ดูแลทารกให้สามารถนวดทารกได้อย่างมีประสิทธิภาพ คําสําคัญ: การนวดสัมผัสทารก พยาบาล โปรแกรมการฝึกอบรม

Purpose: The study purpose was to determine the effects of an infant massage training program on knowledge and skill among nurses. Design: A quasi-experimental research.Methods: The study sample included 28 nurses who took care of infants and children. All participants attended the infant massage training program. Before the program, data collection was performed by using a demographic data form and the knowledge of infant massage questionnaire (pretest). One month after the program, all participants were asked to complete the questionnaire (posttest) again. In addition, the research team evaluated nurses’ infant massage skill by using an observation form of nurse’s infant massage skill. Study data were analyzed by using descriptive statistic and paired t-test. Main findings: An average score of nurses’ knowledge at 1 month after the training was statistically higher than that before the training (p < .001). Additionally, an average score of infant massage skill was in a good level. Conclusion and recommendations: The study revealed that the infant massage training program can enhance knowledge and skill of infant massage among nurses. Therefore, professional nurses should integrate infant massage into routine nursing activities for taking care of these infants. Also, nurses should train parents or caregivers to be able to massage their children efficiently.
