dc.description.abstract© 2020 Magnolia Press. Stephania kaweesakii (Menispermaceae), a new tuberous species from Thailand, is described and illustrated. It is morphologically similar to S. pierrei but can be distinguished by having thick-scaled (vs. smooth and papery) tuber bark, male flowers with 3 or 4 petals (vs. absence of petals).en_US
