dc.description.abstract© 2019, Indian Journal of Public Health Research and Development. All right reserved. The present study is a descriptive research design aimed at exploring the factors associated with work-life balance among occupational health nurses of Thailand. Data was collected using 455 questionnaires sent by mail, 287 of which were returned for a return rate of 50.98 percent. The related factors were analyzed using multiple linear regression. According to the findings, the overall work-life balance of occupational health nurses is moderate with a mean (M) and standard deviation (SD) equal to 3.44 and 0.38, respectively. When categorized by individual factors, involvement balance was found to be high (M=3.58, SD = 0.52), while satisfaction balance and time balance were found to be moderate (M = 3.43, SD = 0.52 and M = 3.43, SD = 0.57). The factors associated with work-life balance included marital status, income sufficiency, age, family support, work experience, social support, number of hours worked, role ambiguity and role conflicts. The variables capable of copredicting variances in work-life balance included age, income sufficiency, number of hours worked, role conflict, role ambiguity, and family support. The linear predictive coefficient was 37.0; therefore, the above predictive factors should be applied to the development of programs for promoting work-life balance for occupational health nurses in the future.
