A clinical trial of cytosine arabinoside was made with 16 late cases of lymphoma and 4 cases of stage 4 retinoblastoma. Most of the cases selected for this trial were those who had already received other forms of conventional treatment and would not further respond to it. A few of these cases responded to this drug quite excellently with a long remission period and reasonably long survival period. The untoward effect of this drug employed in a dosage described above is negligible. This encourages the authors to use this drug in combination with others in the ''cocktail'' programme in earlier cases of lymphoma.en_US
