Encouragement for performance of investments in the association of southeast Asian nations (ASEAN) a case study in Laos PDR

© 2017 American Scientific Publishers. All rights reserved. The purpose of this study comprehended foreign investment performance in Laos PDR. Qualitative research methodology has been used. The interviewing question obtained information on how to investment in Laos PDR, which intends to explain the factors that related to three aspects of investment. The results showed that: the government welcomes all investors that focused on infrastructure. The investment programs are thoroughly typing to three concepts, the first one is foreign investment as a general company, second one is investing in public goods or public services and the last type is special economic zone for foreign investment. Hence, to gain the revenue from foreign investment, the tax promotion is one of the strategies of the government.
