Abstract
© 2018 IEEE. Elderly people who are above fifty years old will have higher risk to have symptoms of dementia than other age. The risk will become higher and higher according to their age increasing. There are many alternative approaches to prevent dementia. One of the effective approaches is to do brain training activities. Therefore, the Flying Memory is developed to help keeping elderly away from dementia.The Flying Memory is a matching card game with both of 2D and 3D objects. Its purpose is to boost player's skill in memorizing. This project focuses on developing the game application that can support the elderly users. The game contains several levels of gameplay which will affect to the number of cards in each gameplay. The game willshow the object before setting the card to hide which allows elderly to exercise short-Term memory training. From the experiments with a group of elderly, most of the players satisfied with memory practicing while enjoying the game playing.
