มิติใหม่ของงานจดหมายเหตุและพิพิธภัณฑ์มหาวิทยาลัยมหิดล กับการพัฒนานักศึกษายุวมัคคุเทศก์ (โครงการ MU Guide)

Abstract

งานวิจัยเรื่องมิติใหม่ของงานจดหมายเหตุและพิพิธภัณฑ์มหาวิทยาลัยมหิดล กับการพัฒนานักศึกษายุวมัคคุเทศก์ (โครงการ MU Guide) มีวัตถุประสงค์เพื่อศึกษาแนวทางการจัดฝึกอบรมเพื่อพัฒนานักศึกษายุวมัคคุเทศก์ของมหาวิทยาลัยมหิดล โดยใช้วิธีการเก็บรวบรวมข้อมูลความพึงพอใจของผู้เข้ารับการอบรมระหว่างปี พ.ศ. 2554-2559 มาประเมินผล วิเคราะห์ความพึงพอใจ และสรุปบทเรียน เพื่อเป็นต้นแบบการจัดฝึกอบรมนักศึกษายุวมัคคุเทศก์ที่มีประสิทธิภาพ และได้รับการตอบรับระดับดี

จากการศึกษาพบว่า การจัดฝึกอบรมนักศึกษายุวมัคคุเทศก์ ควรคำนึงถึงจำนวนนักศึกษาที่เข้าร่วมกิจกรรม และรูปแบบกิจกรรม ดังนี้ จำนวนนักศึกษาที่เข้าอบรมไม่ควรเกิน 30-40 คน กิจกรรมไม่ควรเกิน 4 กิจกรรม เพื่อการเรียนรู้ได้อย่างเต็มที่ ควรเน้นการศึกษาข้อมูลที่อยู่ในมหาวิทยาลัยและชุมชนโดยรอบ และ รุ่นพี่ควรมีส่วนร่วมในการแลกเปลี่ยนประสบการณ์กับนักศึกษาที่เข้าอบรมเพื่อสร้างความสัมพันธ์อันดีและความผูกพันต่อองค์กร

งานวิจัยชิ้นนี้เป็นประโยชน์แก่สถาบันการศึกษาต่างๆ ที่สนใจศึกษาเป็นแนวทางในการพัฒนานักศึกษายุวมัคคุเทศก์ของสถาบัน โดยสามารถปรับเปลี่ยนรูปแบบได้ตามความเหมาะสม เพื่อให้สอดคล้องกับทิศทางการดำเนินงานของสถาบันนั้น

This study investigated a new approach to the operation of Mahidol University Archives and Museums Division, and the development of the student-led campus tour (the MU Guide Project). The aims were to further our understanding of the effectiveness of the training process. Post-training survey of the trainees between 2011 -2016 was analyzed for the satisfaction and lesson-learned. The results showed that the number of participants and the activity format should be considered as one of the major factors. In order to achieve effective learning, the number of trainees should not exceed 30-40 students, while the activities should not be more than 4. The emphasis should be in disseminating information of the university as well as the surrounding community. The senior students should share their experience with the trainees in order to create a stronger bond with the organization. This study could be beneficial to other academic institutions that are interested in developing student-led campus tour. Customization of the program could also be carried out as appropriate
