ความวิตกกังวลของนิสิตทันตแพทย์ มหาวิทยาลัยศรีนครินทรวิโรฒ

Abstract

การวิจัยครั้งนี้มีวัตถุประสงค์ เพื่อศึกษาความวิตกกังวลของนิสิตทันตแพทย์ชั้นปีที่ 1 – ปีที่ 6 ที่กำลังศึกษาอยู่คณะทันตแพทยศาสตร์ มหาวิทยาลัยศรีนครินทรวิโรฒ จำนวน 236 คน โดยใช้การ วิจัยเชิงพรรณนา (Descriptive research) รวบรวมข้อมูลโดยการสำรวจภาคตัดขวาง (Cross – sectional survey) ด้วยการใช้แบบสอบถามความวิตกกังวล ของ The Taylor Manifest Anxiety Scale จำนวน 50 ข้อคำถาม ทดสอบความแตกต่างด้วย one way ANOVA และ independent t - test ผลการวิจัย พบว่านิสิตที่มีอายุนอ้ ยกว่า 20 ปี และมากกว่า 20 ปี มีคะแนนความวิตกกังวล แตกต่างกัน อย่างมีนัยสำคัญทางสถิติ (p-value < 0.005) นิสิตที่ศึกษาในชั้นปีที่ 3 และปีที่ 4 มีคะแนน ค่าเฉลี่ยความวิตกกังวลสูงกว่าชั้นปีอื่น คือ 24.02 และ 25.30 ตามลำดับ และนิสิตที่เกิดในเขต จงั หวัดกรุงเทพมหานครและปริมณฑล และนิสิตที่เกิดในเขตต่างจังหวัด มีคะแนนความวิตกกังวล แตกต่างกันอย่างมีนัยสำคัญทางสถิติ (p-value <0.004) นิสิตที่มีภูมิลำเนาก่อนเข้าศึกษาที่อยู่ใน เขตกรุงเทพมหานครและปริมณฑล และนิสิตที่มีภูมิลำเนาก่อนเข้าศึกษาที่อยู่ในเขตต่างจังหวัด มีคะแนนความวิตกกังวลแตกต่างกันอย่างมีนัยสำคัญทางสถิติ (p-value <0.025) นิสิตที่มีโรงเรียน ระดับมัธยมศึกษาตอนปลายตั้งอยู่ในเขตกรุงเทพมหานครและปริมณฑล และนิสิตที่มีโรงเรียนระดับ มัธยมศึกษาตอนปลายตั้งอยู่ในเขตต่างจังหวัด มีคะแนนความวิตกกังวลแตกต่างกันอย่างมีนัยสำคัญ ทางสถิติ (p-value <0.005) สรุปผลการวิจัย นิสิตที่มีคะแนนความวิตกกังวลสูงกว่ากลุ่มอื่นได้แก่ นิสิตที่มีอายุมากกว่า 20 ปี นิสิตที่ศึกษา ในชั้นปีที่ 3 และปีที่ 4 และนิสิตที่เกิด มีภูมิลำเนาก่อนเข้าศึกษาคณะทันตแพทย์ และศึกษาในโรงเรียนระดับมัธยมศึกษาตอนปลายที่ตั้งอยู่ในเขตกรุงเทพมหานครและปริมณฑล จึงสมควรให้นิสิตกลุ่มดังกล่าวได้รับการจัดกิจกรรมเสริม รวมทั้งให้คำปรึกษาแนะนำ เพื่อป้องกัน และแก้ไขปัญหาความวิตกกังวลต่อไป

Objective: The purpose of this study was to examine the anxiety status of first to sixth year dental students, Srinakharinwirot University. Methods: 236 first to sixth year dental students, Srinakharinwirot University. The study was cross – sectional survey by using 50 – item Taylor Manifest Anxiety Scale. The data were analyzed by one way ANOVA and independent t – test. Results: Significant difference were found on anxiety score in students’ age, younger and older than twenty years old. (p < 0.005) The mean score of students in third year and forth year were higher than the others. (24.02, and 25.30) The score of students who were born in Bangkok and boundary compared with students who were born in rural was a significant difference.( p < 0.004). The score of students who had background in Bangkok and boundary compared with students who had background in rural was a significant difference. (p < 0.005) And the score of student who were in high school in Bangkok and boundary compared with student who were in high school in rural was a significant difference. (p < 0.005) Conclusions: It was conclusions that the students who had higher anxiety score were the students older than twenty years old, studied in third years and forth years and the student who had previous background and high school in Bangkok and boundary. Suggestions for special activities in curriculum and counseling program for the dental students.
