dc.description.abstract | © 2011 Springer-Verlag London Limited. Lasers for hair removal are a fast-growing area in cosmetic dermatology. Selective photothermolysis allows for targeting of specific chromophores while minimizing cutaneous damage. Treatment of individuals should be individua-lized based on anatomical area, skin and hair color, by varying the wavelength, fluence, pulse duration, spot size, and cooling technique of the laser. | en_US |
