Abstract

แผลในช่องปากเป็นปรากฏการณ์ที่พบได้บ่อยซึ่งในบางครั้งก่อให้เกิดความรำคาญและมักจะเป็นอาการที่นำผู้ป่วยมาพบทันตแพทย์ โดยปกติแล้วแผลในช่องปากจะเป็นรอยโรคของเนื้อเยื้ออ่อนและจำกัดการลุกลามอยู่เพียงชั้นพื้นผิวของเยื่อเมือกช่องปาก อย่างไรก็ตามอาจพบรอยโรคที่มีความเกี่ยวข้องกับเนื้อเยื่อแข็งได้ตามแต่สาเหตุของอาการเกิดแผลนั้น ๆ รายงานผู้ป่วยนี้นำเสนอข้อสันนิษฐานสาเหตุของการเกิดและแนวทางการรักษาผู้ป่วยที่ตรวจพบการมีชิ้นกระดูกผุปรากฏร่วมกับการเกิดในช่องปาก

Oral ulceration is a common phenomenon which sometimes annoys and always be the reason that brings patient to dentist. Normally oral ulcers are the lesions of soft tissue and involve only to the oral mucous membrane, however, depending on the cause of the lesions, there may be some which relate to hard tissue. This report presents a case of patient who develops an ulcer with bone sequestration and also discusses possible etiology and treatment option for this kind of lesion.
