พฤติกรรมส่งเสริมสุขภาพของอาจารย์มัธยมศึกษา สังกัดสํานักงานเขตพื้นที่การศึกษามัธยมศึกษาจังหวัดสุรินทร์

Abstract

การวิจัยเชิงสำรวจมีวัตถุประสงค์เพื่อศึกษาปัจจัยที่มีความสัมพันธ์กับพฤติกรรมส่งเสริมสุขภาพของ อาจารย์มัธยมศึกษา สังกัดสำนักงานเขตพื้นที่การศึกษามัธยมศึกษาจังหวัดสุรินทร์ โดยใช้ PRECEDE Framework เป็นกรอบแนวคิด กลุ่มตัวอย่างคือ อาจารย์ผู้สอนโรงเรียนระดับมัธยมศึกษาจังหวัดสุรินทร์ จำนวน 359 คน เก็บข้อมูลโดยให้กลุ่มตัวอย่างตอบแบบสอบถามด้วยตนเอง สถิติที่ใช้วิเคราะห์ข้อมูล ได้แก่ การแจกแจง ความถี่ ร้อยละ ค่าเฉลี่ย ส่วนเบี่ยงเบนมาตรฐาน สถิติไค-สแควร์และสถิติสัมประสิทธิ์สหสัมพันธ์ แบบเพียร์สัน ผลการวิจัยพบว่ากลุ่มตัวอย่างมีพฤติกรรมส่งเสริมสุขภาพด้านการรับประทานอาหารและ การออกกำลังกายอยู่ในระดับต่ำ ร้อยละ 79.4 ปัจจัยนำด้านอายุ และสถานภาพสมรส มีความสัมพันธ์ ทางบวกอย่างมีนัยสำคัญทางสถิติกับพฤติกรรมส่งเสริมสุขภาพ ส่วนเพศ ดัชนีมวลกายและระดับ การศึกษาไม่มีความสัมพันธ์กับพฤติกรรมส่งเสริมสุขภาพ ปัจจัยนำด้านจิตวิทยา คือ การรับรู้ประโยชน์มี ความสัมพันธ์อย่างมีนัยสำคัญทางสถิติกับพฤติกรรมส่งเสริมสุขภาพ ส่วนการรับรู้อุปสรรคและการรับรู้ ความสามารถของตนไม่มีความสัมพันธ์กับพฤติกรรมส่งเสริมสุขภาพ ปัจจัยเอื้อ ได้แก่ ปัจจัยแวดล้อมใน โรงเรียนและบ้าน/ชุมชน ปัจจัยเสริมด้านอิทธิพลของบุคคล คือ เจ้าหน้าที่สาธารณสุขมีความสัมพันธ์ อย่างมีนัยสำคัญทางสถิติกับพฤติกรรมส่งเสริมสุขภาพ ข้อเสนอแนะจากการวิจัย หน่วยงานด้าน การศึกษาควรมีการกำหนดนโยบาย กลยุทธ์และกลวิธีในการดำเนินงานส่งเสริมพฤติกรรมของอาจารย์ ผู้สอนโรงเรียนระดับมัธยมศึกษา สังกัดสำนักงานเขตพื้นที่การศึกษามัธยมศึกษาจังหวัดสุรินทร์ ซึ่งควรทำ ทั้งระดับองค์กร เชิงนโยบายและบุคคลอย่างต่อเนื่อง

This cross-sectional survey research was to investigate the factors related to health promoting behaviors of secondary school teachers in Surin Province by applying the PRECEDE Framework for setting the conceptual research framework. The sample consisted of 359 secondary school teachers who were selected by employing the multi-stage sampling method. The data were collected by using self-administered questionnaires, and data analysis was done by computing frequency, percentage, mean, standard deviation, the Chi-square test, and Pearson’s Product Moment Correlation. The results showed that food consumption and exercise behaviors were at the low level (79.4%). Age and marital status were the factors that related significantly and positively with health-promoting behaviors while no significant relationship was found between sex, Body Mass Index, educational level and health- promoting behaviors. The predisposing factor in regard to perceived benefits was found to relate significantly with health-promoting behaviors, but no significant relationship was found among health-promoting behaviors, perceived obstacles, and perceived self-efficacy. The enabling factor was environmental influences in schools and houses/communities and the reinforcing factor was the influence of public health personnel. These research results can be utilized for setting policy, strategies, and methods of implementing program to encourage health-promoting behaviors of secondary school teachers in Surin Province, whereas these programs should be implemented at the organizational, policy, and individual levels continuously
