Video Abstract : สื่อดิจิทัลเพื่อการเผยแพร่ผลงานวิจัยของมหาวิทยาลัยมหิดลให้กว้างไกลสู่ระดับโลก

Abstract

หอสมุดและคลังความรู้มหาวิทยาลัยมหิดลได้จัดทําสื่อดิจิทัล Video Abstract ที่รวบรวมผลงานวิจัยตีพิมพ์ระดับนานาชาติของอาจารย์ นักวิจัย มหาวิทยาลัยมหิดลขึ้นภายใต้โครงการยุทธศาสตร์ เพื่อนําเสนอบนแพลตฟอร์มยูทูบ Mahidol Library Channel เพลย์ลิสต์ The Author by Mahidol University Library and Knowledge Center และในรูปแบบหน้าเพจเว็บไซต์ www.li.mahidol.ac.th/the-author ซึ่งมีการจัดแบ่งเป็นหมวดหมู่ตามสาขาวิชาที่เกี่ยวข้องเพื่อให้ง่ายต่อการรับชม โดยได้รับความร่วมมือจากหน่วยสื่อสารองค์กรฯ งานวิเคราะห์ทรัพยากรสารสนเทศ และงานเทคโนโลยีสารสนเทศ เพื่อพัฒนาช่องทางประชาสัมพันธ์ผลงานวิชาการของมหาวิทยาลัยในแนวทางใหม่ และวิเคราะห์ผลการเข้าถึงสื่อดิจิทัลจากช่องทางประชาสัมพันธ์ดังกล่าว โดยดําเนินงานตามแนวคิดทฤษฎี PDCA โดยใช้เครื่องมือการวิเคราะห์สถิติหน้าเพจเว็บไซต์ Google Analyticsและใช้แพลตฟอร์ม studio.youtube วิเคราะห์ภาพรวมการรับชมคลิปจากช่องยูทูบ ผลพบว่าภายในระยะเวลาหนึ่งเดือนมีจํานวนการเข้ารับชมทั้งหมด 508 ครั้ง มีผู้รับชมใหม่เพิ่มขึ้นคิดเป็น 13% และมีผู้ติดตามช่องยูทูบเพิ่มขึ้นคิดเป็น 572% ในระยะเวลา 3 เดือน

Mahidol University Library and Knowledge Center has provided digital media in Video Abstract styles presenting international research publications from Mahidol University instructors and researchers as part of their strategic plans. These video abstracts were presented on the Mahidol Library YouTube channel, the playlist, "The Author by Mahidol University Library and Knowledge Center," and another platform on the website www.li.mahidol.ac.th/the-author. These videos were organized into categories based on relevant academic fields as easy to watch. This initiative received collaboration from Public and Foreign Relations unit, Serials & Electronic Resources Division, and Library Technology department, to promote a new trend of the research dissemination of the university. To process the project, the PDCA theory (Plan-Do-Check-Act) and Google Analytics, a web statistical analysis tool, were used. Additionally, the studio.youtube platform was used to provide an overview of YouTube video views as well. The result showed that there were a total of 508 views within one month, new viewers were increased 13%, and YouTube channel subscribers were increased 572% within three months.
