In only a few years, operative hysteroscopy has become very popular among gynecologists, whereas more than a century passed before diagnostic hysteroscopy attained wide acceptance. At present, with the development of miniaturized cameras, this endoscopic operative technique can be used in the management of all non-cancerous intrauterine lesions, with the entire procedure being performed under video monitoring. In this chapter we will review the present indications of diagnostic hysteroscopy and also report our results of hysteroscopic submucous myomectomy, polypectomy, adhesiolysis, septoplasty, and endometrial ablation.en_US
