dc.description.abstractA variety of unusual reactions following Hymenoptera stings have been reported, including serum sickness, vasculitis, neuritis, encephalopathy, hemolytic anemia, Henoch-Schoenlein syndrome and thrombotic thrombocytopenic purpura. We report a case of thrombocytopenic purpura following a honey bee sting which is an unusual and rare complication.en_US
