dc.description.abstract© 2019, The Author(s). An oil spill is the release of liquid petroleum into the marine ecosystem leading to huge damages in the natural resources. Prediction of oil spill spreading can help in handling accidental oil spills. This study is to present numerical simulation to predict the movement of oil slicks in the Gulf of Thailand, based on the wind speed prediction obtained by an ocean wave model. The numerical results show that oil slicks can move toward different coastal areas.en_US
