การสังเคราะห์งานวิจัยเกี่ยวกับการพัฒนาความฉลาดทางอารมณ์ในวัยรุ่น

Abstract

การศึกษาครั้งนี้มีวัตถุประสงค์เพื่อสังเคราะห์งานวิจัยเกี่ยวกับการพัฒนาความ ฉลาดทางอารมณ์ในวัยรุ่น ในประเด็นรูปแบบและผลลัพธ์ของการพัฒนาความฉลาดทางอารมณ์ ในวัยรุ่น โดยรวบรวมข้อมูลงานวิจัยจากฐานข้อมูลต่าง ๆ ทางอิเลคทรอนิกส์และห้องสมุดตั้งแต่ ปี ค.ศ. 2004-2009 (พ.ศ. 2547-2552) มีงานวิจัยที่ตรงตามเกณฑ์ที่กำหนดจำนวน 18 เรื่อง เป็นงานวิจัยเชิงทดลองที่มีการสุ่มและมีกลุ่มควบคุม (randomized controlled trials) ระดับ A จำนวน 8 เรื่อง เป็นงานวิจัยกึ่งทดลองระดับ B จำนวน 9 เรื่อง และระดับ C จำนวน 1 เรื่อง สรุป เป็นสาระสำคัญได้ดังนี้ การพัฒนาความฉลาดทางอารมณ์สามารถแบ่งเป็น 4 รูปแบบ คือ 1) การพัฒนาความฉลาดทางอารมณ์ตามแนวคิดจิตวิทยา 2) การพัฒนาความฉลาดทางอารมณ์ ตามแนวคิดศาสนา 3) การพัฒนาความฉลาดทางอารมณ์ตามแนวคิดสังคม และ 4) การพัฒนา ความฉลาดทางอารมณ์ตามแนวคิดผสมผสาน ทั้ง 4 รูปแบบนี้สามารถเพิ่มความฉลาดทาง อารมณ์ในผู้เข้ารับการฝึกได้ และยังส่งผลต่อการปรับตัวต่อความเครียดและผลการเรียนดีขึ้น ผลการสังเคราะห์งานวิจัยครั้งนี้ สามารถนำไปใช้ในการพัฒนาความฉลาดทางอารมณ์ในวัยรุ่น โดยเลือกรูปแบบให้เหมาะสมกับวัยรุ่นแต่ละกลุ่มได้อย่างมีประสิทธิภาพ

The present study aimed at synthesising research on promoting emotional intelligence in adolescents in terms of types and outcomes of emotional intelligence. Research reports published between 2004 and 2009 (B.E. 2547-2552) were searched from electronic databases and manual search. There were altogether 18 research studies that met the inclusion criteria. Of these, eight were randomized controlled trials in Level A, nine were quasi-experimental research studies in Level B, and one was in Level C. According to the study findings, promotion of emotional intelligence can be divided into four types as follows: 1) promotion of emotional intelligence based on psychological concepts, 2) promotion of emotional intelligence based on religious concepts, 3) promotion of emotional intelligence based on social concepts, and 4) promotion of emotional intelligence based on a combination of concepts. All four types have been found to promote emotional intelligence in adolescents, as well as enable them to cope with stress and improve their learning achievements. The findings of the present study can be used as a guideline for promoting emotional intelligence in adolescents. It is recommended that the adolescents’ attributes should be taken into consideration to select appropriate program and to ensure effectiveness of the program.
