การรับรู้สิ่งแวดล้อมการเรียนรู้ของนักศึกษาแพทย์ไทยชั้นคลินิกในโรงพยาบาลสุราษฎร์ธานีภายใต้โครงการผลิตแพทย์เพื่อชาวชนบท

Abstract

บทนำ: สิ่งแวดล้อมการเรียนรู้ที่เหมาะสมมีความสัมพันธ์กับสุขภาวะที่ดีขึ้นของนักศึกษาแพทย์ ส่งผลให้มีการเรียนรู้ที่ดี วัตถุประสงค์: เพื่อการศึกษาการรับรู้และปัจจัยที่มีผลต่อการรับรู้สิ่งแวดล้อมการเรียนรู้ของนักศึกษาแพทย์ชั้นคลินิกในโรงพยาบาลสุราษฎร์ธานี วิธีการศึกษา: การศึกษาเชิงพรรณาแบบภาคตัดขวางในกลุ่มตัวอย่างนักศึกษาแพทย์ชั้นคลินิก (ชั้นปีที่ 4-6) จำนวน 89 คน เก็บข้อมูลตั้งแต่วันที่ 1 กันยายน พ.ศ 2565 ถึงวันที่ 30 พฤศจิกายน พ.ศ. 2565 โดยใช้แบบสอบถามออนไลน์ ประกอบด้วยแบบประเมินการรับรู้สิ่งแวดล้อมการเรียนรู้ของนักศึกษาแพทย์ไทยและแบบสอบถามปลายเปิด ผลการศึกษา: กลุ่มตัวอย่างมีอัตราตอบกลับแบบสอบถาม คิดเป็นร้อยละ 65.17 ส่วนใหญ่เป็นเพศหญิง และเกรดเฉลี่ยอยู่ในช่วง 3.00-3.49 การรับรู้สิ่งแวดล้อมการเรียนรู้มีคะแนนเฉลี่ย คิดเป็นร้อยละ 70 โดยคะแนนมากสุด คือ ด้านเพื่อนร่วมงาน และด้านการสนับสนุนทางจิตใจ ขณะที่คะแนนน้อยสุด คือ ด้านสุขภาพและความเครียด โดยนักศึกษาแพทย์ชั้นปีที่ 6 เพศหญิงรับรู้ด้านประสบการณ์การเรียนดีกว่าเพศชายอย่างมีนัยสำคัญ ขณะที่ด้านอื่นๆ ไม่มีความแตกต่างกันอย่างมีนัยสำคัญ (P > .05) เมื่อเปรียบเทียบในปัจจัยด้านเพศ ชั้นปีการศึกษาและเกรดเฉลี่ย โดยมีข้อเสนอแนะให้พัฒนาด้านสิ่งแวดล้อมทางกายภาพ และด้านสุขภาพและความเครียด สรุป: นักศึกษาแพทย์ส่วนใหญ่รับรู้สิ่งแวดล้อมการเรียนรู้ในเชิงบวกโดยมีจุดแข็งด้านผู้สอน ด้านเพื่อร่วมงาน ด้านประสบการณ์การเรียน ด้านแรงบันดาลใจและด้านการสนับสนุนทางจิตใต ขณะที่ด้านสิ่งแวดล้อมทางกายภาพและด้านสุขภาพและความเครียด จำเป้นต้องหาแนวทางการพัฒนา

Background: Appropriate learning environments were associated with better well-being of medical students, resulting in good learning. Objective: To study perceptions and factors affecting perceptions of the learning environment among clinical year medical students in Surat Thani Hospital, Thailand. Methods: In a cross-sectional descriptive study, data were collected among 89 medical students (4th - 6th year) from September 1, 2022, to November 30, 2022, using an online questionnaire consisting of the Thai Learning Climate Measure and an open-ended questionnaire. Results: The response rate was 65.17% of the total medical students. Most participants were female and had a GPA of 3.00 - 3.49. The average score of learning environment perception was 70%. The aspect with the highest score were “colleagues” and “mental support”. The aspect with the lowest scores was “health and stress”. Female 6th-year medical students perceived the learning experience aspect significantly better than males, while other aspects showed no statistically significant difference (P > .05) when comparing gender, school year, and GPA. “Physical environments” and “health and stress” aspects were the areas that need to be improved in clinical years medical students’ perspective. Conclusions: Most medical students perceived the learning environment positively. Strengths include “teachers”, “colleagues”, “learning experience”, “motivation”, and “mental support” aspects. The “physical environments” and “health and stress” aspects were the areas that need to be improved.
