We present a 25-year-old woman who has a diagnosis of differentiated thyroid cancer, a 2.5-cm papillary carcinoma in the right lobe, and presence of minimal extrathyroid invasion.131I ablation and/or treatment of 150 mCi was given orally 3 months after total thyroidectomy. A fetus with radioiodine uptake in the fetal thyroid was unsuspectedly detected by SPECT/ CT after131I treatment.en_US
