ปัจจัยทำนายความสุขของผู้สูงอายุในชุมชนที่มีโรคเรื้อรัง

Abstract

การวิจัยนี้เป็นการวิจัยเชิงพรรณนาเพื่อศึกษา ระดับความสุขและปัจจัยทำนายความสุขของผู้สูงอายุ ที่มีโรคเรื้อรังในชุมชน เก็บรวบรวมข้อมูลโดยการ สัมภาษณ์ผู้สูงอายุที่มีอายุตั้งแต่ 60 ปีขึ้นไป ที่มีโรค เรื้อรัง จำานวน 234 คน วิเคราะห์ข้อมูลโดยการ คำนวณค่าร้อยละ ค่าเฉลี่ย ส่วนเบี่ยงเบนมาตรฐาน และการวิเคราะห์ถดถอยพหุคูณ ผลการศึกษาพบว่า กลุ่มตัวอย่างมีความสุขเท่ากับคนทั่วไป (Mean = 48.59, SD = 6.61) กลุ่มตัวอย่างร้อยละ 36.80 มีความสุข มากกว่าคนทั่วไป ร้อยละ 43.60 มีความสุขเท่ากับ คนทั่วไป และร้อยละ 19.60 มีความสุขต่ำกว่าคนทั่วไปปัจจัยทำนายความสุขของผู้สูงอายุที่มีโรคเรื้อรัง ได้แก่ ความเพียงพอของรายได้ (p < 0.001) การรับรู้ภาวะ สุขภาพที่ดี (p < 0.001) ความพึงพอใจในความเป็นอยู่ ปัจจุบัน (p < 0.01) และการเข้าร่วมกิจกรรมทางสังคม อย่างสม่ำเสมอ (p < 0.05) โดยร่วมทำนายความสุข ได้ร้อยละ 26.6 (Adjusted R2= 0.266, p < 0.001) เพื่อส่งเสริมให้ผู้สูงอายุที่มีโรคเรื้อรังในชุมชุนมีความสุข ทีมสุขภาพควรจัดบริการสุขภาพให้ผู้สูงอายุเข้าร่วม กิจกรรมทางสังคมอย่างสม่ำเสมอ ผู้สูงอายุโรคเรื้อรัง ที่มีรายได้ไม่เพียงพอ มีการรับรู้ภาวะสุขภาพไม่ดี และไม่พึงพอใจในความเป็นอยู่ ควรได้รับการจัดบริการ สุขภาพที่จะส่งเสริมให้ผู้สูงอายุกลุ่มนี้มีความสุขเพิ่มขึ้น

This study was descriptive research aimed at examining the happiness level and factors predicting the happiness of communitydwelling older adults with chronic diseases. Data were collected by interview from 234 community-dwelling older adults aged 60 years and older with chronic diseases. Data were analyzed using percentage, mean, standard deviation and multiple regression. The results showed that participants had happiness at a fair level (mean = 48.59, SD = 6.61), 36.80% of participants had happiness at a good level, 43.60% of participants had happiness at a fair level, and 19.60% of participants had happiness at a poor level. The factors predicting the happiness of older adults with chronic diseases comprised adequate income (p <0.001), perceive of health status at good (p <0.001), satisfaction with living conditions (p <0.01) and regular participation in community-activities (p <0.05), accounting for 26.6% (adjusted R2 = 0.266, p <0.001) of the variance in happiness. To promote happiness among community-dwelling older adults with chronic diseases, public health teams should provide health services to older adults and promote regular participation in community-activities. Older adults with chronic diseases receiving inadequate income, perceived health status at a poor level, and poor satisfaction with living conditions should receive health services to increase their happiness.
