การเปรียบเทียบผลสัมฤทธิ์ทางการเรียนของนักศึกษาคณะสัตวแพทยศาสตร์ มหาวิทยาลัยมหิดล ที่รับเข้าศึกษาในระบบโควตาและระบบกลางในปีการศึกษา 2553

Abstract

การวิจัยครั้งนี้มีวัตถุประสงค์เพื่อศึกษาเปรียบเทียบผลสัมฤทธิ์ทางการเรียนของนักศึกษาคณะสัตวแพทยศาสตร์ มหาวิทยาลัยมหิดล ที่เข้าศึกษาในระบบโควตาและระบบกลาง (CUAS) โดยศึกษาจากนักศึกษาชั้นปีที่ 1-6 ในปีการศึกษา 2553 จำนวน 254 คน และวิเคราะห์ข้อมูลด้วยค่าร้อยละ ค่าเฉลี่ย และส่วนเบี่ยงเบนมาตรฐาน ผลการศึกษาพบว่า 1)ผลสัมฤทธิ์ทางการเรียนของนักศึกษาคณะสัตวแพทยศาสตร์ มหาวิทยาลัยมหิดล ที่เข้าศึกษาด้วยระบบกลาง สูงกว่าผลสัมฤทธิ์ทางการเรียนของนักศึกษาที่เข้าศึกษาด้วยระบบโควตา ในชั้นปีที่ 1 ชั้นปีที่ 2 ชั้นปีที่ 4 และชั้นปีที่ 6 2)นักศึกษาที่รับเข้าศึกษาในระบบกลาง มีผลสัมฤทธิ์ทางการเรียนสูงกว่านักศึกษาที่รับเข้าศึกษาด้วยระบบโควตา ในการศึกษาระดับเตรียมสัตวแพทย์ ส่วนการศึกษาในระดับปรีคลินิกและคลินิก พบว่า นักศึกษาที่รับเข้าศึกษาด้วยระบบโควตามีคะแนนเฉลี่ยสะสมสูงกว่านักศึกษาที่รับเข้าศึกษาด้วยระบบกลาง

This study aimed to compare academic achievement (GPAX) of the students in Faculty of Veterinary Science, Mahidol University between the students who admitted by quota system and Central University Admissions System (CUAS) in academic year 2010. The 254 students of the 1st-6th year were evaluated. The data were analyzed by percentage, mean and standard deviation. The results were presented as: 1) The academic achievement of the CUAS admitted students was higher than the quota system admitted students in the 1st, 2nd, 4th and 6th year students. 2) The academic achievement of the CUAS admitted students was higher than the quota system admitted students in the veterinary preparation level whereas the academic achievement in pre-clinical and clinical levels of the quota system admitted students was higher than the CUAS admitted students.
