dc.description.abstractIn this paper, we develop a mathematical model and a numerical technique to study the coupled turbulent flow and heat transfer process in continuous steel casting under an electromagnetic force. The complete set of field equations are established and solved numerically. The influences of the electromagnetic field on a flow pattern of molten steel and the temperature field as well as steel solidification are presented in the paper.en_US
