ถุงนี้เป็นนวัตกรรมทางการพยาบาลซึ่งใช้เก็บสายให้อาหารทางจมูกถึงกระเพาะอาหาร ส่วนที่อยู่นอกโพรงจมูก สามารถใช้ได้ง่ายและช่วยทำให้การทำกิจกรรมประจำวันของผู้ป่วยสะดวก ขึ้น ลดปัญหาปลายสายให้อาหารแกว่งเคลื่อนไหวไปมา ซึ่งทำให้ผู้ป่วยเกิดความปวด รำคาญ และไม่สุขสบาย นอกจากนี้ ยังช่วยลดโอกาสเปื้อนเชื้อจุลินทรีย์ของสายที่ก่อให้เกิดภาวะการติดเชื้อ ทางเดินอาหาร ลดโอกาสสายถูกดึงรั้งและหลุดออก ดังนั้น ถุงเก็บสายให้อาหารชนิดใหม่นี้ จะช่วย ทำให้ผู้ป่วยเกิดความสะดวก สุขสบาย และปลอดภัย ซึ่งมีส่วนทำให้คุณภาพการดำรงชีวิตประจำวัน ดีขึ้น
