การประเมินความต้องการจำเป็นเกี่ยวกับกิจกรรมการส่งเสริม และพัฒนาศักยภาพด้านจริยธรรมการวิจัยของนักศึกษา ระดับบัณฑิตศึกษา คณะสังคมศาสตร์และมนุษยศาสตร์ มหาวิทยาลัยมหิดล

Abstract

บทความนี้มีวัตถุประสงค์เพื่อประเมินความต้องการจำเป็นเกี่ยวกับกิจกรรมการส่งเสริมและพัฒนาศักยภาพด้านจริยธรรมการวิจัยของนักศึกษาระดับบัณฑิตศึกษา คณะสังคมศาสตร์และมนุษยศาสตร์ มหาวิทยาลัยมหิดล การศึกษาระยะที่ 1 เป็นระยะกำหนดกรอบแนวคิดของการประเมินความต้องการจไเป็น พบว่านักศึกษาระดับบัณฑิตศึกษาของคณะสังคมศาสตร์และมนุษยศาสตร์ มหาวิทยาลัยมหิดล คาดหวังให้จัดกิจกรรมดังต่อไปนี้ คลินิกจริยธรรมการวิจัย การให้บริการถาม-ตอบทางอีเมล ทางโทรศัพท์ และทางเว็บไซต์ คาดหวังให้มีการบรรยายเกี่ยวกับจริยธรรมการวิจัย และการใช้โปรแกรม CITI program โดยต้องการให้สำนักงานคณะกรรมการจริยธรรม การวิจัยในคน สาขาสังคมศาสตร์ ประสานงานกับภาควิชาหรือหลักสูตรที่รับผิดชอบหรือหน่วยงานที่เกี่ยวข้อง เป็นหน่วยงานหลักในการจัดกิจกรรมการศึกษาระยะที่ 2 เป็นระยะประเมินความต้องการจำเป็น นักศึกษาระดับบัณฑิตศึกษาของคณะสังคมศาสตร์และมนุษยศาสตร์ มหาวิทยาลัยมหิดลได้แสดงความคิดเห็นว่า กิจกรรมการส่งเสริมและพัฒนาศักยภาพด้านจริยธรรมการวิจัยที่ควรดำเนินการมากที่สุด 3 อันดับแรก ได้แก่ การให้บริการถาม-ตอบทางอีเมล คิดเป็นร้อยละ 82.4 รองลงมา คือ การให้บริการถาม-ตอบ ในเว็บไซต์ คิดเป็นร้อยละ 79.0 และการให้บริการถาม-ตอบทางโทรศัพท์ คิดเป็นร้อยละ 65.5 ส่วนกิจกรรมที่ควรดำเนินการจัดเพื่อเป็นการส่งเสริมและพัฒนาศักยภาพด้านจริยธรรมการวิจัยเป็นบางครั้ง 3 อันดับแรก ได้แก่ คลินิกจริยธรรม การวิจัยจัดโดยงานวิจัยและวิชาการ คณะสังคมศาสตร์และมนุษยศาสตร์ในวันทำการ คิดเป็นร้อยละ 61.3 รองลงมาคือ คลินิกจริยธรรมการวิจัยแบบกลุ่มย่อย ตามภาควิชาต่าง ๆ คิดเป็นร้อยละ 58.8 และคลินิกจริยธรรมการวิจัย จัดโดยงานวิจัยและวิชาการ คณะสังคมศาสตร์และมนุษยศาสตร์ และในวันเสาร์-อาทิตย์ คิดเป็นร้อยละ 55.5

This article aimed to assess the needs of the graduate students, Faculty of Social Sciences and Humanities, Mahidol University for the research ethics potential promoting and developing activities. As for the study in the first stage, the researchers determined the conceptual framework of the needs assessment and found that the graduate students of the Faculty of Social Sciences and Humanities, Mahidol University expected the organization to organize the activities of research ethics clinic, the question-answer service provision by email, telephone, and website, the lecture of research ethics, and use of CITI Program. The graduate students wanted The Social Sciences Institutional Review Board to coordinate with the related agency to be the main agency to organize the activities. As for the study in the second stage, the researcher assessed the needs. The graduate students of the Faculty of Social Sciences and Humanities, Mahidol University expressed the opinions that the research ethics potential promoting and developing activities which should be most considerably organized were the question-answer service provision by email (82.4%), the question-answer service provision on website (79.0%), and the question-answer service provision by telephone (65.5%), respectively. The activities which should be occasionally organized for promoting and developing the research ethics potential were the research ethics clinic organized in the working days by the Research and Technical Affairs Division, Faculty of Social Sciences and Humanities (61.3%), the sub-group research ethics clinic in various departments (58.8%), and the research ethics clinic organized on Saturday-Sunday by the Research and Technical Affairs Division, Faculty of Social Sciences and Humanities (55.5%).
