ผลของโปรแกรมการสร้างพลังใจต่อการรับรู้สมรรถนะในการดูแลบุตรและความพึงพอใจต่อบริการพยาบาลในมารดาที่บุตรได้รับการรักษาทางศัลยกรรมกระดูก

Abstract

วัตถุประสงค์: เพื่อศึกษาผลของโปรแกรมการสร้างพลังใจที่มีต่อการรับรู้สมรรถนะในการดูแลบุตร และความพึงพอใจต่อบริการพยาบาลในมารดาที่บุตรได้รับการรักษาทางศัลยกรรมกระดูก รูปแบบการวิจัย:การวิจัยกึ่งทดลอง วิธีดําเนินการวิจัย: กลุ่มตัวอย่างเป็นมารดาของผู้ป่วยเด็กที่มารับการรักษาทางศัลยกรรมกระดูก ที่โรงพยาบาลสมเด็จพระนางเจ้าสิริกิติ์ จังหวัดชลบุรี จํานวน 32 คน เลือกกลุ่มตัวอย่างแบบสะดวกและจับคู่ด้วยชนิดของการรักษาทางศัลยกรรมกระดูก แบ่งเป็นกลุ่มควบคุมและกลุ่มทดลองกลุ่มละ 16 คน กลุ่มควบคุมได้รับการดูแลตามปกติ กลุ่มทดลองได้รับโปรแกรมการสร้างพลังใจเป็นเวลา 4 วัน รวบรวมข้อมูลโดยใช้แบบบันทึกข้อมูลทั่วไป แบบสอบถามการรับรู้สมรรถนะของตนเองในการมีส่วนร่วมดูแลบุตรที่ได้รับการรักษาทางศัลยกรรมกระดูก และแบบสอบถามความพึงพอใจต่อบริการพยาบาล วิเคราะห์ข้อมูลโดยใช้สถิติทดสอบทีผลการวิจัย: ภายหลังเข้าร่วมโปรแกรม กลุ่มทดลองมีคะแนนการรับรู้สมรรถนะของตนเองในการดูแลบุตร สูงกว่ากลุ่มควบคุมอย่างมีนัยสําคัญทางสถิติ (t = -9.843, p < .001) และมีคะแนนความพึงพอใจของมารดาต่อบริการพยาบาล สูงกว่ากลุ่มควบคุมอย่างมีนัยสําคัญทางสถิติ (t = -5.171, p < .001) สรุปและข้อเสนอแนะ: โปรแกรมการสร้างพลังใจช่วยทําให้มารดามีการรับรู้สมรรถนะของตนเองในการดูแลบุตร และความพึงพอใจต่อบริการพยาบาลเพิ่มขึ้น ดังนั้นควรส่งเสริมการนําโปรแกรมการสร้างพลังใจไปประยุกต์ในการให้บริการพยาบาล กับมารดาของผู้ป่วยเด็กที่ได้รับการรักษาทางศัลยกรรมกระดูก เพื่อพัฒนาคุณภาพการดูแลผู้ป่วยเด็กศัลยกรรมกระดูกต่อไป

Purpose: To study the effects of an empowerment program on perceived efficacy in child care andsatisfaction in mothers with children undergoing orthopaedic surgery.Design: Quasi-experimental research.Methods: The sample comprised 32 mothers of pediatric patients undergoing orthopaedic surgeryat Queen Sirikit Hospital, Chonburi Province. A convenience sampling with match-pairing by type of orthopaedic surgery was used. The sample was divided into control and experimental groups with 16each. The control group received routine nursing care only. The experimental group received theempowerment program for four days. Data were collected using a demographic data recording form, thequestionnaire of perceived self-efficacy in participation in the care of children undergoing orthopaedicsurgery, and the questionnaire of maternal satisfaction towards nursing services. Data analysis wasconducted by using t-test.Main findings: After participating in the program, the experimental group had significantly higherscores of perceived self-efficacy (t = -9.843, p < .001) and significantly higher scores of maternalsatisfaction toward nursing services (t = -5.171, p < .001), compared to the control group.Conclusion and recommendations: The empowerment program for mothers helps improvingperceived self-efficacy in child care and increasing satisfaction towards nursing services. Therefore, theimplementation of the program in routinely nursing services should be promoted to further improve thequality of care in orthopaedic pediatric patients.
