Abstract
This study aimed to: create a water resource management model, study the applicability of the model, and study the possibility of community involvement in solving the issue of water shortage. The results showed that: a water resource management model called the ADMA Cycle comprising; Allocation (A), Development (D), Maintenance (M), and Application (A). Then studied the created model's applicability and feasibility of rural community's self-reliance through cooperation in solving water resource problems. The study found that most of the participant agreed on the created model and that it was highly probable that people in rural communities will cooperate in solving water resource problems, and also found that the rural community's failure to cooperate in solving the problem was due to a lack of practical guidelines and inspiring leader. © EuroJournals Publishing, Inc. 2012.
