dc.description.abstract© 2015 Elsevier GmbH. All rights reserved. A new method for reconstructing three-dimensional (3-D) foot plantar surface by using incoherent structured illumination is proposed. The proposed method has an advantage over laser-based systems in that it is free from image distortions caused by interference patterns. The proposed method can be used for assessing medial longitudinal arch (MLA) and facilitating fabrication of foot orthotics.en_US
