งานวิจัยนี้เป็นการศึกษาดัชนีชี้วัดทางด้านสิ่งแวดล้อม โดยการบ่งชี้ประเด็นปัญหาสิ่งแวดล้อมและกำหนดกรอบในการพัฒนาดัชนีชี้วัดด้านการจัดการ การปฏิบัติงานทางด้านสิ่งแวดล้อม และ ทำการประเมินผลการดำเนินงานด้านสิ่งแวดล้อมของอุทยานแห่งชาติทางทะเลหมู่เกาะช้าง รวมทั้งศึกษาระดับการยอมรับ ISO 14001 สำหรับผู้บริหารและเจ้าหน้าที่ ด้วยการสัมภาษณ์เชิงลึกและการวิเคราะห์ในห้องปฏิบัติการ จากการศึกษาพบว่า การดำเนินงานด้านสิ่งแวดล้อมโดยภาพรวมอยู่ในระดับที่ดี การดำเนินงานด้านการจัดการสิ่งแวดล้อมอยู่ในระดับดี การดำเนินงานด้านการปฏิบัติงานและผลด้านสภาวะแวดล้อมอยู่ในระดับปานกลาง ส่วนผลการยอมรับมาตรฐานการจัดการสิ่งแวดล้อม ISO 14001 สำหรับผู้บริหารและเจ้าหน้าที่อุทยานแห่งชาติหมู่เกาะช้าง พบว่าระดับการยอมรับ ISO 14001 อยู่ในระดับสูงอย่างมีนัยสำคัญที่ระดับความเชื่อมั่น 95 เปอร์เซ็นต์ (p น้อยกว่า 0.05)
This research aimed to develop environmental indicators, for evaluating Koh Chang National Park Environmental Performance Evaluation (EPE) and study IS O 14001 acceptability level. To develop the indicators and to evaluate the EPE, in-depth inte rview and laboratory analysis were appr opriately applied. Research results indicated that the overall environm ental performance at K oh Chang Marine National Park and environmental management were both in good level whilst, environmen tal operation and surroundin g conditions, were in the moderate level. All in all, this research found out the IS O 14001 acceptance among administrators and Koh Chang Marine National park officers we re quite high with statistical signif icance in confidence at a level of 95% (p<0.05)
