การใช้ฐานข้อมูลอิเล็กทรอนิกส์ของนักศึกษาและอาจารย์คณะเภสัชศาสตร์ มหาวิทยาลัยมหิดล

Abstract

การวิจัยครั้งนี้เป็นการวิจัยเชิงสำรวจ มีวัตถุประสงค์เพื่อศึกษาการใช้ฐานข้อมูล อิเล็กทรอนิกส์ของนักศึกษาและอาจารย์ คณะเภสัชศาสตร์ มหาวิทยาลัยมหิดล โดยใช้ แบบสอบถามเป็นเครื่องมือเก็บรวบรวมข้อมูล กลุ่มตัวอย่าง ได้แก่ นักศึกษา และอาจารย์ คณะเภสัชศาสตร์ มหาวิทยาลัยมหิดล จำนวน 302 คน และได้รับแบบสอบถามคืน จำนวน 286 ชุด คิดเป็นร้อยละ 94.70 สถิติที่ใช้ในการวิเคราะห์ข้อมูล ได้แก่ ค่าร้อยละ (Percentage) ค่าเฉลี่ย (x) ค่าส่วนเบี่ยงเบนมาตรฐาน (S.D.) และการวิเคราะห์ความ แปรปรวนทางเดียว (One-way Analysis of Variance) ผลการวิจัยพบว่า ผู้ตอบแบบสอบถามจำนวนมากที่สุด ใช้ฐานข้อมูลอิเล็กทรอนิกส์ เพื่อประกอบการเรียน/การสอน (ร้อยละ 87.41) ใช้ที่ห้องสมุดคณะเภสัชศาสตร์ (ร้อยละ 80.77) 1-2 ครั้ง/สัปดาห์ (ร้อยละ 40.56) เข้าถึงโดยผ่านหน้าเว็บไซต์ของหอสมุด และคลังความรู้มหาวิทยาลัยมหิดล (ร้อยละ 67.83) ฐานข้อมูลที่มีการใช้มากที่สุดคือ ฐานข้อมูล PubMed (ร้อยละ 92.31) เรียนรู้การใช้ฐานข้อมูลจากที่อาจารย์แนะนำ/จาก การศึกษาตามรายวิชาในหลักสูตร (ร้อยละ 71.33) เริ่มต้นสืบค้นด้วยวิธีการสืบค้นอย่าง ง่าย (Basic search) (ร้อยละ 70.28) โดยเลือกใช้คำสำคัญ (Keyword) (ร้อยละ 81.47) ประกอบการใช้เทคนิคขั้นสูงคือ คำเชื่อมบูลีน AND, OR, NOT เชื่อมระหว่างคำค้น (ร้อยละ 61.54) รูปแบบผลการสืบค้นที่ได้รับคือ เอกสารฉบับเต็มแบบ PDF (ร้อยละ 88.81) โดยนิยมอ่านผลการสืบค้นจากหน้าจอ (ร้อยละ 78.67) บริการอื่นๆที่มีในฐานข้อมูลจะใช้ บริการลงทะเบียนสมัครสมาชิกกับฐานข้อมูลเพื่อใช้จัดเก็บผลการสืบค้นของตนเอง (ร้อยละ 37.41) สำหรับปัญหาในการใช้ฐานข้อมูลที่มีค่าเฉลี่ยสูงสุดคือ จำนวนเครื่องคอมพิวเตอร์ที่ ให้บริการฐานข้อมูลในห้องสมุดมีจำนวนน้อย (x =3.58, SD=1.245) เป็นปัญหาในระดับ มาก รองลงมาคือ ไม่สามารถติดตามเอกสารฉบับเต็มจากรายการที่สืบค้นได้ (x=3.47, SD=1.162) เป็นปัญหาในระดับปานกลาง

The objectives of this survey research were to study the use of electronic databases by students and lecturers of Faculty of Pharmacy Library, Mahidol University. Data for this study were collected by questionnaires which 302 surveys were distributed, with 286 usable surveys returned (94.70%). Data were analyzed by using percentage, mean, standard deviation and one-way analysis of variance. The research findings concluded that most of respondents use for the purpose of learning / teaching (87.41%) at the Faculty of Pharmacy Library (80.77%). The frequency of use was 1-2 times per week (40.56%). Accessed through the website of Mahidol University Library and Knowledge Center (67.83%). The database contains the most commonly used PubMed (92.31%). Learning to use the database of the lecturer recommendation / from study subjects in the curriculum (71.33%). Start searching with Basic search (70.28%), choose keywords (81.47%), an advanced techniques were boolean logic AND, OR, NOT between search terms (61.54%). The results from searching were displayed on the PDF file with full text format (88.81%) by reading on computer immediately (78.67%). Other services that were available in the electronic databases was registered with the database for storing searches result (37.41%). For problems using an electronic databases with highest mean score, a small amount of computer for searching in the library (X=3.58, SD=1.245) which in the most level, unable to track the full text of the items searched (X=3.47, SD=1.162) which in the moderate level.
