การประเมินประสิทธิภาพ และการใช้งานภาคสนามชุดทดสอบ อ 36 ในการตรวจวัดปริมาณไอโอดีนในเกลือบริโภค

Abstract

ชุดทดสอบเกลือไอโอดีนอนามัย 36 (อ36) ได้พัฒนาขึ้นเพื่อใช้ตรวจปริมาณสารไอโอดีนในเกลือบริโภคในการตรวจสอบภาคสนาม เพื่อการเฝ้าระวังปริมาณไอโอดีนในเกลือบริโภค และการควบคุมคุณภาพการผลิตเกลือเสริมไอโอดีน การศึกษานี้มีวัตถุประสงค์เพื่อประเมินประสิทธิภาพ และการใช้งานภาคสนามของชุดทดสอบ อ36 ที่พัฒนาขึ้น โดยเปรียบเทียบผลการตรวจสอบปริมาณไอโอดีนในเกลือ ระหว่างชุดทดสอบ อ36 กับชุดทดสอบเกลือเสริมไอโอดีน I-KIT และวิธี Colorimetric ผลการศึกษาพบว่าชุดทดสอบ อ36 ให้ผลแตกต่างจากชุดทดสอบ I-KIT อย่างมีนัยสำคัญ (p<0.001) ในการตรวจวัดปริมาณไอโอดีนในเกลือบริโภค โดยชุดทดสอบอนามัย 36 มีความแม่นยำ ความไว ความจำเพาะ ค่าผลบวกเท็จ และค่าผลลบเท็จ เป็นร้อยละ 86.9, 95.1, 85.4, 14.6 และ 4.9 ตามลำดับ ค่าสถิติ Kappa coefficient (k) เท่ากับ 0.61 การเปรียบเทียบผลการวิเคราะห์ระหว่างชุดทดสอบ อ36 กับวิธี Colorimetric พบว่าชุดทดสอบ อ36 มีความแม่นยำ ความไว ความจำเพาะ ค่าผลบวกเท็จ และค่าผลลบเท็จ เป็นร้อยละ 87.5, 80, 89.5, 10.5, 20 ตามลำดับ ค่า k เท่ากับ 0.65 การใช้งานภาคสนามของชุดทดสอบ อ36 ควรมีการปรับปรุงคู่มือการใช้งานให้ชัดเจน เข้าใจง่าย พัฒนาชุดทดสอบให้ไม่มีกลิ่นสารเคมีระหว่างการทดสอบ ปรับขนาด และน้ำหนักของผลิตภัณฑ์ให้สะดวกในการใช้งานภาคสนาม

In the field inspection, the H36 test kit was developed to determine the iodine quantity in salt for the purposes of consumption, monitoring and quality control of iodized salt. This study aimed to evaluate the efficiency and usage of the new field kit, namely Health 36 (H36), by comparing the result of the H36 test kit with the I-KIT and colorimetric method. The findings revealed that the result from the H36 test kit and I-KIT was significant (p<0.001). The H36 test kit showed accuracy, sensitivity, specificity, a false positive rate and a false negative rate of 86.9, 95.1, 85.4, 14.6 and 4.9% respectively. The Kappa co-efficiency (k) value was 0.61. The result of H36 test kit was compared with colorimetric method. The result found that the accuracy, sensitivity, specificity, false positive rate and false negative rate of H36 test kit were 87.5, 80, 89.5, 10.5 and 20% respectively. The k value was 0.65. Consequently, the findings suggest that the User Manual of the H36 test kit need to be improved for a clearer understanding and, in addition, there should be no odour of chemicals during the test and the size and weight of the product should be improved to facilitate the use of the field.
