Delayed pressure urticaria (DPU) is characterized by swellings that develop at sites of sustained pressure on the skin several hours after the pressure is removed and can persist for days. DPU is generally difficult to treat successfully. Antihistamines are usually not effective. We present the case of a patient with DPU who appeared to benefit from chloroquine.en_US
