dc.description.abstractThe purpose of this article is to investigate the causes of stress, present the effects of stress, and find out managers' strategies for dealing with stress. The results of the study showed that stress is a pressure, suffering, worry and anxiety caused by the problems in human life. Managers can use both physical and spiritual approach to manage stress, for examples, physical exercise, listening to music, creating a sense of humor, breathing exercise, getting massage, coping with anger, reframing thinking, managing worry time, practicing meditation, and creating positive feeling etc. Successful managers must be able to identify the causes and origins of stress, its resolutions, and be able to cope with stress effectively. In addition, managers must be able to help followers deal with their stress, and change stressful environments to be free from stress and more workable place. © EuroJournals Publishing, Inc. 2012.en_US
