Abstract

Summary: A case of a surviving infant delivered by post mortem Caesarean section is added to the 153 previously reported. The patient, a primigravid at 38 weeks of gestation, was delivered probably some 15 minutes after death of the mother by electrocution. At the age of 8 years the child shows normal physical and mental development. The literature on the subject is briefly reviewed. Copyright © 1972, Wiley Blackwell. All rights reserved
