การทบทวนงานวิจัยเกี่ยวกับการสูบบุหรี่ในโรงเรียนมัธยมศึกษา

Abstract

การทบทวนงานวิจัยเรื่องนี้มีวัตถุประสงค์เพื่อวิเคราะห์และสรุปเนื้อหาองค์ความรู้เกี่ยวกับการควบคุมยาสูบในสถานศึกษาระดับมัธยมศึกษาในประเทศไทย คัดเลือกงานวิจัยและวิทยานิพนธ์โดย ศึกษาย้อนหลัง 5 ปี คือตั้งแต่ พ.ศ. 2549 ถึง พ.ศ. 2553 ผลการศึกษาพบว่า งานวิจัยเกี่ยวกับการควบคุมยาสูบในสถานศึกษาระดับมัธยมศึกษาในประเทศไทย จำนวน 52 เรื่อง เกือบทั้งหมดเป็นการศึกษาอิสระ / วิทยานิพนธ์ระดับปริญญามหาบัณฑิต แบ่งได้เป็น 3 กลุ่ม ได้แก่ พฤติกรรมการสูบบุหรี่และปัจจัยที่เกี่ยวข้อง การป้องกันการสูบบุหรี่ และโปรแกรมการส่งเสริมการเลิกบุหรี่ ปัจจัยทาง จิตสังคมที่มีความสัมพันธ์กับการสูบบุหรี่ของนักเรียน ได้แก่ ทัศนคติต่อการสูบบุหรี่ ความเชื่ออำนาจในตนเอง การรับรู้ผลกระทบของการสูบบุหรี่ การรับรู้โอกาสเสี่ยง การรับรู้ประโยชน์ รวมทั้งแรงสนับสนุนทางสังคม การได้รับข้อมูลเกี่ยวกับบุหรี่จากสื่อและหลักสูตรหรือนโยบายเกี่ยวกับการสูบ บุหรี่เป็นปัจจัยที่มีอิทธิพลต่อการสูบบุหรี่ นอกจากนี้ยังพบว่า การศึกษาด้านการส่งเสริมการเลิกบุหรี่ ยังมีค่อนข้างจำกัด การให้คำปรึกษาแบบกลุ่มโดยยึดบุคคลเป็นศูนย์กลาง การประยุกต์แนวคิดการรับรู้ความสมรรถนะแห่งตน อีกทั้งการติดตามช่วยเหลือให้เลิกสูบอย่างใกล้ชิดเป็นกลวิธีที่ช่วย โปรแกรมการส่งเสริมการเลิกบุหรี่มีประสิทธิผล ในอนาคตการศึกษาควรมุ่งเน้นไปที่บทบาทของครอบครัวและเครือข่ายทางสังคมในการป้องกันและส่งเสริมการเลิกบุหรี่ รวมทั้งการพัฒนาวิธีการที่เหมาะสมสำหรับวัยรุ่น

The purpose of this literature review is to analyze and summarize body of knowledge regarding tobacco control in high schools in Thailand. The samples were the published and unpublished research studies from 2006 – 2010. Fifty-two studies were considered appropriate for this review. The results indicated that the majority of research studies were master thesis. These studies can be categorized into three groups: smoking behaviors and related factors; smoking prevention; and smoking cessation intervention. This review also found that psychosocial factors related to smoking include attitudes towards smoking, health locus of control, perceived benefit of smoking, and perceived susceptibility. Moreover, information about smoking from media and tobacco control curriculum in schools also influence on smoking behaviors of students. A limited number of smoking cessation studies suggested group counseling with person-centered approach, applying self-efficacy theory, and close follow-up as effective strategies to promote smoking cessation. The role of family and social networks in promoting cessation need to be explored. Also, further research needs to include more intervention studies to demonstrate the effectiveness of smoking cessation program for adolescent populations.
