| dc.description.abstract | Gait training and exercise are important for patients with diabetes to improve neuromuscular and enhance peripheral blood flow. The risk of diabetic foot ulcer (DFU) is increased due to increased plantar loading and shearing force during exercise training. Together with customized insoles and smart insole systems, patients can improve physical fitness with less risk of DFU. However, further studies and the development of smart insole systems are still necessary to enhance the effectiveness of exercise training in patients with diabetes. Artificial intelligence plays an important role in the continuous data collection, processing, and pattern recognition of physiological responses, which can lead to advanced monitoring, analysis, and treatment of diabetic foot complications. | |
