ปัจจัยที่เกี่ยวข้องกับการใช้กัญชาของนักเรียนอาชีวศึกษา จังหวัดบุรีรัมย์

Abstract

กัญชาเป็นพืชที่ประกอบด้วยสารเสพติดมีผลกระทบต่อสุขภาพในหลายด้าน ทั้งด้านสุขภาพกาย สุขภาพจิต ในระดับบุคคล ครอบครัว และชุมชน วัยหนุ่มสาว อายุ 18-25 ปี เป็นกลุ่มที่มีโอกาสได้รับผลกระทบจากการใช้กัญชาสูงโดยเฉพาะอย่างยิ่งในนักเรียนอาชีวศึกษา การวิจัยเชิงพรรณนาแบบภาคตัดขวางนี้มีจุดประสงค์เพื่อหาความชุกของการใช้กัญชาและปัจจัยที่เกี่ยวข้องในนักเรียนอาชีวศึกษา จังหวัดบุรีรัมย์ ตัวอย่างเป็นนักเรียนอาชีวศึกษา อายุระหว่าง 18 ถึง 25 ปี ที่มีสถาบันการศึกษาตั้งอยู่ในจังหวัดบุรีรัมย์ จำนวน 176 ตัวอย่าง เก็บข้อมูลโดยใช้แบบสอบถามชนิดตอบด้วยตัวเองในรูปแบบออนไลน์ ระหว่างเดือนมีนาคม ถึง เมษายน พ.ศ. 2566 การวิเคราะห์ข้อมูลใช้การวิเคราะห์ถดถอยโลจิสติกอย่างง่าย และการวิเคราะห์ถดถอยโลจิสติกเชิงพหุ กำหนดช่วงความเชื่อมั่นที่ร้อยละ 95 ผลการวิจัยพบว่านักเรียนอาชีวศึกษาตัวอย่าง มีความชุกของการใช้กัญชาร้อยละ 34.66 พบ 11 ปัจจัยที่เกี่ยวข้องกับการใช้กัญชา ได้แก่ การสูบบุหรี่ การใช้กัญชาของสมาชิกในครอบครัว เพศ การใช้กัญชาของเพื่อน การสูบบุหรี่ของเพื่อน ผลการเรียน การรับรู้การใช้กัญชาของคนในชุมชน การเข้าถึงผลิตภัณฑ์กัญชาในชุมชน การดื่มเครื่องดื่มแอลกอฮอล์ ทัศนคติต่อกัญชา และการกำกับติดตามของผู้ปกครอง (Crude OR = 25.15, 5.02, 4.85, 4.54, 3.00, 2.59, 2.37, 2.04, 2.03, 1.08, และ 0.89 ตามลำดับ) และเมื่อควบคุมปัจจัยที่เกี่ยวข้องแล้วพบว่า การสูบบุหรี่ (Adjusted OR = 20.09 95% CI 4.38, 92.07) และการใช้กัญชาของเพื่อน (Adjusted OR = 3.41 95% CI 1.07, 10.81) เป็น 2 ปัจจัยสำคัญที่มีความสัมพันธ์กับการใช้กัญชาของนักเรียนอาชีวศึกษา จังหวัดบุรีรัมย์ การนำผลของสารนิพนธ์ไปใช้: สถาบันการศึกษาควรจัดทำระบบเฝ้าระวังการใช้กัญชาในนักเรียนอาชีวศึกษาอย่างเข้มงวด โดยเฉพาะในนักเรียนชายที่สูบบุหรี่ ควรให้ความรู้เกี่ยวกับกัญชาที่มีผลกระทบต่อสุขภาพ และรณรงค์การเลิกสูบบุหรี่อย่างเข้มข้น หน่วยงานสาธารณสุขดำเนินการเชิงรุกในการให้ความรู้และสร้างความเข้าใจเกี่ยวกับผลกระทบต่อสุขภาพจากการใช้กัญชา ทั้งนี้ ควรเร่งออกกฎหมายที่เกี่ยวข้องกับกัญชาและมีการบังคับใช้กฎหมายอย่างเข้มงวด รวมถึงการกำกับติดตามการใช้กัญชาอย่างเปิดเผยในชุมชน

Substance abuse in cannabis can affect many aspects of health, such as physical and mental health on many levels, including individual, family, and community levels. The young adult group, especially vocational students, had a high probability to be exposed to cannabis and its effects. This cross-sectional study aimed to identify the prevalence of cannabis use and associated factors among vocational students. The samples consisted of 176 vocational students aged between 18 and 25 years in Buriram Province. Data were collected using an online questionnaire between March and April 2023. The data were analyzed by using simple and multiple logistic regression analysis with a 95% confidence interval. The crucial findings revealed the prevalence of cannabis use among vocational students in Buriram Province is 34.66%. Eleven factors associated with cannabis use were smoking, familial cannabis use, sex, peer cannabis use, peer smoking, GPA, community cannabis use perception, cannabis availability, alcohol consumption, attitude toward cannabis, and parental monitoring (Crude OR = 25.15, 5.02, 4.85, 4.54, 3.00, 2.59, 2.37, 2.04, 2.03, 1.08, and 0.89 respectively). After controlling all other associated factors, the researcher found smoking (Adjusted OR = 20.09, 95% CI 4.38, 92.07) and peer cannabis use (Adjusted OR = 3.41, 95% CI 1.07, 10.81) were two important factors associated with cannabis use among vocational students in Buriram Province. Implication of thematic paper: The vocational education institution should set and strengthen cannabis use surveillance among students, especially in smoking male students, by educating students on cannabis health effects and strengthening no-smoking campaigns in the institutes. The public health units should expand outreach to educate young people about the health effects of cannabis. The cannabis laws and regulations should be urgently enacted and strictly enforced, including the monitoring of cannabis use in the community.
