Abstract
This study examines the evolving landscape of Chinese opera education, focusing on bridging the gap between traditional practices and modern educational methods. We investigate how opera is integrated into compulsory education, highlighting its significance in emotional and aesthetic development. Our systematic analysis of 45 pieces of literature covers themes such as the historical evolution of opera education, the interaction between technology and traditional methods, and the integration of opera in contemporary education systems. Key findings indicate a trend towards modernization while preserving cultural heritage. This underscores the importance of innovative teaching techniques that resonate with modern audiences. Additionally, the study explores how education and technology can collaborate to adapt Chinese opera to global and digital trends. It also examines ways to perpetuate and evolve this traditional art form across diverse cultural and educational backgrounds. Future research areas identified include the integration of advanced technology in opera education and the global promotion of this art form, aiming to enrich and expand its reach and relevance in today's interconnected world.
