Abstract
This study sought to investigate the relationship between motivation factors and career choices, to study the level of motivation and career choice, and to predict the career choice by motivation factors of the Liberal Arts Faculty undergraduate students in Huachiew Chalermprakiet University, Thailand. This research was conducted using quantitative method, for which data was collected through descriptive survey questionnaires. The research sample in this study consisted of 201 undergraduate students from the faculty of Liberal Arts in HCU. The data was processed electronically using computer application. Multiple Regression Analysis was used to predict motivation factors on career choices. The results indicated that overall level of motivation factors on career choices were high. High level of career choice to work in their major or major areas from the respondents indicated intrinsic factors, extrinsic factors and interpersonal factors of motivation significantly effects undergraduate students' career choices related to their majors. The findings of this research do support that there is a significant relationship between intrinsic, extrinsic and interpersonal factors of motivation and internship regarding career choices. The findings also revealed that there is no one factor which independently influences future career choices. It identified the influences in aspects of intrinsic factors, extrinsic factors and interpersonal factors of career choice scopes enriched such research in Thailand undergraduates' career choice area provided one reference of the field of choosing career. This research can be used as a resource for future study as well.
