Abstract
This research was conducted to determine current problems with nursing documentation at Central Hospital. The current procedure was analyzed, and a new system was designed and developed to meet users requirements. In conducting this research, the researcher dealt with background data collection in four categories, namely, patient history, medical treatment and nursing care, problem analysis of the existing procedure of data collection and the development of a feasibility study. Following 4 system analysis, a data flow diagram was designed by the researcher whereby a system process was presented in a flow chart form. In designing a new system, the researcher used the Graphic User Interface (GUI) for interface design and the Microsoft Access97 relational database with 3 NF normalization for database design. Also, Visual Basic version 6.0 was used for developing the application. The results of this study suggest that a patient care database system should have a network system (LAN) for providing medical information from doctors to nurses so patients health assessments can be done more effectively. This software application development can be further improved for initiating tripartite information comprising patient history, medical treatment and nursing care. The information system can be further improved by a database system to which this software application may be applied.
การวิจัยนี้เป็นการวิจัยที่วิเคราะห์ ออกแบบ และพัฒนาระบบฐานข้อมูลการพยาบาล เพื่อใช้สำหรับบันทึกทางการพยาบาล เนื่องจากการบันทึกข้อมูลทางการพยาบาลในปัจจุบัน เป็นการบันทึกด้วยมือ ทำให้เสียเวลาที่พยาบาลจะต้องใช้ในการให้การดูแลผู้รับบริการ ในการวิจัยได้เลือกใช้ระบบจำแนกทางการพยาบาล ICNP alpha version ข้อมูลสำหรับการวิจัย เป็นข้อมูลจำลองที่มีรูปแบบและเนื้อหาใกล้เคียงกับข้อมูลจริงมากที่สุด โดยใช้โปรแกรม Microsoft Visual Basic 6.0 ซึ่งเป็นโปรแกรมประเภทเชื่อมโยงกับผู้ใช้แบบกราฟิก (Graphical User Interface หรือ GUI) การจัดการฐานข้อมูลของ Microsoft Access 97 ภายใต้ระบบปฏิบัติการ Microsoft Windows 98 ผลที่ได้จากการวิจัยนี้ สามารถทำให้การบันทึก การสอบถาม และรายงานเกี่ยวกับข้อมูล ทางการพยาบาลได้อย่างมีมาตรฐาน ลดความซ้ำซ้อนในการจัดเก็บข้อมูล ประหยัดเวลาในการค้นหา ข้อมูล พร้อมกันนี้ผู้วิจัยยังได้มีข้อเสนอแนะในการพัฒนางานวิจัยนี้ต่อไป คือ ควรมีการ พัฒนาให้ระบบฐานข้อมูล มีการใช้ระบบเครือข่ายข้อมูล (Local Area Network) เพื่อที่จะ ช่วยให้ระบบงานมีความต่อเนื่องกันมากยิ่งขึ้น โดยมีการพัฒนาโปรแกรมให้สามารถประยุกต์ และปรับปรุงในข้อมูลสามส่วน ระหว่างฐานข้อมูลคนไข้ ฐานข้อมูลการรักษา และฐานข้อมูล การพยาบาล ให้สามารถสอดคล้องและสนับสนุนกันภายใต้ระบบฐานข้อมูลเดียวกัน และทำให้การ ใช้งานในระบบเกิดประสิทธิภาพมากที่สุด
