Abstract
The objective of this research was to study the affect of an anti-drug campaign's success on 'TO BE NUMBER ONE' club members. The sample group was 400 samples. This survey research used questionnaires as a tool to collect data from students in Nonthaburi province, Thailand, samples were TO BE NUMBER ONE club members, selected by purposive sampling. Data were analyzed by using the Statistical Package for Social Science. Statistics applied in this research include percentage, frequency, arithmetic mean, standard deviation, and analysis of Chi-Square. The conclusions were as follows. Personal background: it was found that most females in the sample group are between 16 to 20 years old (53.5%). The sample group was educated to a primary school level (36%), and had studied in a government school (76.3%). The majority of the sample had been a member for at least a year (78.5%), and found information about the anti-drugs campaign through the internet. Most of the sample group think that cigarettes are the most common drug abuse in school (72.8%), and most of them did not know people addicted to drugs (73.5%), most of the sample group lived in a good environment. The majority of the sample group joined with this campaign because they would like to support those addicted to drug abuse and their community, and were supported by the Ministry of Education. As a result, it was found that the majority of the sample groups success in the anti-drug campaign was at a good level. Most of them were interested in a variety of media Game Shows and Talk Shows, and would like to join with activities sharing anti-drug information in the home room, or with monks teaching the Dharma and concentration and be a volunteer of student leadership in the Friend Warn Friend scheme. In addition, the different personal backgrounds of the sample group affects the anti-drug drug campaign's success i.e. gender, age and advantage from joining the TO BE NUMBER ONE campaign are call statistically significant.
