การประเมินผลคุณภาพหลักสูตรวิทยาศาสตร์มหาบัณฑิตสาขาอนามัยครอบครัว

Abstract

ภาควิชาอนามัยครอบครัว เปิดสอนหลักสูตรวิทยาศาสตรมหาบัณฑิตสาขาวิชาเอกอนามัยครอบครัว ตั้งแต่ปี 2520 ปัจจุบันมีมหาบัณฑิตสำเร็จการศึกษา 152 คน (ข้อมูลปี 2542) เพื่อเป็นการพัฒนาหลักสูตรและปรับปรุงให้สอดคล้องกับความต้องการของสังคม และเป็นการสนองนโยบายประกันคุณภาพการศึกษา การประเมินผลหลักสูตรแบบครบวงจรโดยมีกลุ่มเป้าหมายเป็นมหาบัณฑิตย้อนหลัง 5 ปี (2537-2542) ทุกราย ผู้บังคับบัญชาและผู้ร่วมงาน ใช้แบบสอบถามส่งทางไปรษณีย์ และประสานงานด้วยการโทรศัพท์ได้ข้อมูลดังนี้ มหาบัณฑิตทั้งหมดเป็นสุภาพสตรีอยู่ในวัยทำงานมีอายุเฉลี่ย 35 ปี หลังสำเร็จการศึกษามีตำแหน่งงานเปลี่ยนแปลงโดยทำงานด้านบริหารและวิชาการเพิ่มขึ้น โดยส่วนใหญ่เป็นสมาชิกองค์กรวิชาชีพ ทั้งนี้มีส่วนรับผิดชอบงานวิชาการการสอนถึงร้อยละ 62.5 และพบว่า มหาบัณฑิตมีการพัฒนาตนเองโดยเข้าร่วมสัมมนาวิชาการเกือบร้อย 90.0 และอีกร้อยละ 10.0 มีประวัติเคยได้รับรางวัลภายหลังสำเร็จการศึกษา สภาพการทำงานมีความพึงพอใจกว่าร้อยละ 70.0 และองค์ความรู้ที่นำมาใช้ประโยชน์มากที่สุดคือ วิชาอนามัยแม่และเด็กและการวางแผนครอบครัว โดยมีความพึงพอใจสูงถึงร้อยละ 80.4 ผู้บังคับบัญชาประเมินการปฏิบัติงานของมหาบัณฑิตอยู่ในเกณฑ์ปานกลางถึงดี โดยมีความพึงพอใจในเรื่องเทคนิควิชาการ การปฏิสัมพันธ์กับเพื่อนร่วมงานและบุคคลทั่วไป ด้านแนวคิดและด้านการพัฒนาตนเองรวมร้อยละ 76.6 ทั้งนี้มีข้อเสนอแนะที่เป็นประโยชน์ต่อการพัฒนาหลักสูตรคือ ทักษะเรื่องการรับฟังความคิดเห็นของผู้อื่น ความมั่นคงทางอารมณ์ หลักสูตรควรเปิดโอกาสกว้างขึ้น เช่น มีภาคพิเศษ เพิ่มวิชาด้านสารสนเทศทางสาธารณสุข และเพิ่มองค์ความรู้ด้านสังคมศาสตร์ เน้นการสร้างภาวะผู้นำและเทคนิคการประยุกต์วิชาการกับภาคปฏิบัติอย่างเป็นรูปธรรม การศึกษาครั้งนี้จักเป็นข้อมูลที่สำคัญในการพัฒนาหลักสูตรภาควิชาต่อไป

The department of Family Health has offered the postgraduate course, Master of Science in Family Health since 1977. Up to present (1999) there are 152 students graduated and went back to apply their knowledge and experience in various characteristics of works. To serve the quality assurance policy which emphasize by dean and president of Mahidol University. The researcher team conducted the course evaluation of all graduated students between 1994 and 1999 by questionnaires the target group are graduated students, senior supervisors and friends. The questionnaires were distributed by mail and confirmed by telephone. The results revealed that all graduated students are female with average age 35 years old. After graduation many of them were promoted to higher administrative and academic positions and 62.5 percent claimed to be the trainer. More than 90 percent had a chance to join academic seminar and 10 percent claimed ever received award. The surrounding and condition of works are said to be satisfaction (>70%) and maternal and child health and family planning subject is the most frequent applied to routine work (80.4%). The senior supervisors are satisfied the competency of graduated students, moderate to high level, 76.6 percent with technical work, socialization, innovation and self’s development. The recommendation for course’s development concerned with skill in communication i.e. listening and mood stability and the curse should offer special or weekend program to provide more opportunity for working staff as a matter of present situation the course should add more contents on health information technology, social science and leadership including the capacity to apply the theory to real practice. All a aforementioned results are served as important input for course development ultimately.
