Timesheet system of multiple-project scheduling in matrix organization a case study of a software house

Abstract

This research work was concerned with a Timesheet system of multiple-project scheduling in matrix organization by using the case study of a software house in Thailand. The objective was to collect data from an individuals timesheet in the organization. The data will be applied and developed for the future use of the organization. The organization has 2 dimensions of matrix structure including vertical and horizontal. Lotus application was used to develop the project scheduling in both server and client. Lotus domino server and Lotus notes are used orderly. A prototype approach was applied in this study during the requirements analysis and design stages of the traditional System Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and Lotus notes was suitable for workflow analysis. The project scheduling separated 3 types of users by objective of the data utilization in a different scheduling system. The system offered high security in the workflow with the operator track the flow of data and reduced the errors in the. timesheet. This research was concerned with Project time control management, including leave time each day. The data each month will be utilized forecast and manage the data effectively in future.

งานวิจัยที่จัดทำขึ้นนี้เกี่ยวกับระบบการลงเวลาในการทำงานในองค์การที่มี โครงสร้างแบบโครงการ โดยใช้กรณีศึกษาบริษัทพัฒนาข้อมูลแห่งหนึ่งในประเทศไทย โดยมี วัตถุประสงค์ในการทำวิจัยครั้งนี้เพื่อเก็บรวบรวมข้อมูลที่ได้จากการลงเวลาในแต่ละวัน ของบุคลากรในองค์การ เพื่อนำข้อมูลที่ได้มาประยุกต์และพัฒนาให้เกิดประโยชน์กับองค์การ ต่อไปในอนาคต โดยองค์การที่เป็นกรณีศึกษาจะมีลักษณะเป็นการทำงานแบบโครงการ ซึ่งมี ลักษณะเป็นโครงสร้าง 2 มิติ การจัดเก็บข้อมูลจะมีความสัมพันธ์กันในทั้งแนวตั้งและ แนวนอนของตารางเวลา การพัฒนาระบบตารางเวลาสำหรับการจัดตารางทำงานในลักษณะโครงการ ใช้ Lotus application ในการทำงาน ทั้งในส่วน server และ client โดยใช้โปรแกรม Lotus Domino server และ Lotus notes ตามลำดับ ซึ่งในการศึกษานั้นจะใช้วิธี System Development Life Cycle (SDLC) ในการจัดทำโปรแกรมต้นแบบ และใช้ Lotus notes เป็นเครื่องมือในการพัฒนาระบบซึ่งมีคุณสมบัติที่เหมาะสมในการทำ Workflow ของระบบ และ สามารถติดตามการไหลเวียนของข้อมูลได้ ระบบตารางเวลาสำหรับการจัดตารางในลักษณะโครงการ จะมีการทำงานที่สามารถแบ่ง ผู้ใช้เป็น 3 ระดับตามการวัตถุประสงค์เข้าใช้ข้อมูล โดยผู้ใช้ทั้ง 3 ระดับสามารถใช้งาน ในระบบตารางเวลาแตกต่างกัน ซึ่งจะทำให้ระบบมีความปลอดภัยสูงในการทำงาน และเป็นการ ทำงานแบบ Work flow ซึ่งสามารถติดตามการไหลของข้อมูล ลดความผิดพลาดที่จะเกิดขึ้นในการ ลงตารางเวลาในแต่ละเดือน เป็นระบบที่เกี่ยวกับการจัดการโครงการ เพื่อนำข้อมูลที่ได้ใน แต่ละเดือนไปใช้ในการจัดการข้อมูลอย่างมีประสิทธิภาพต่อไปในอนาคต
