การสะท้อนตนเองบนเส้นทางครูแพทย์ของผู้วิจัย

Abstract

งานวิจัยนี้เป็นการศึกษาผลของการสะท้อนตนเองของผู้วิจัยในการเป็นครูแพทย์ เป็นการศึกษาวิจัยใน ลักษณะมุมมองที่หนึ่งแบบฮิวริสติก (Heuristic Research) โดยเก็บข้อมูลจากบันทึกประจำวัน บันทึกส่วนตัวในอดีต เอกสารจากการเรียนในหลักสูตรจิตตปัญญาศึกษา และจากการทำงานในบทบาทครูแพทย์ แล้วนำข้อมูลเหล่านั้นมา วิเคราะห์และนำเสนอในลักษณะของการเรียนรู้ตนเองผ่านการเขียน (Narrative Inquiry) ผลการศึกษาแสดงว่า ผู้วิจัยพยายามค้นหามิติจิตใจและจิตวิญญาณที่ขาดหายไปในระบบการศึกษาและ สาธารณสุข โดยนำความสนใจในการศึกษาปฏิบัติธรรมตามแนวทางพุทธเถรวาทอยู่เดิมมาใช้ร่วมด้วย เมื่อผู้วิจัยได้เข้ามา ศึกษาในศูนย์จิตตปัญญาศึกษา จึงนำวิธีการสะท้อนตนเองมาค้นหาสิ่งที่ขาดหายไป การได้เข้าร่วมเรียนรู้กระบวนการ จิตวิทยาการปรึกษาแนวพุทธในวิชาศิลปะการจัดกระบวนการ 1 ผู้วิจัยได้นำเอาแผนที่จิตใจซึ่งคือ โครงสร้างแห่งอริยสัจ 4 มาเป็นกรอบในการทำความเข้าใจโลกทั้งภายในและภายนอกของตน ค้นพบว่า อุปสรรคอันสำคัญที่ขวางกั้นความเป็น องค์รวมของชีวิตนั้น มาจากการมีม่านหมอกของความรู้ ความเชื่อ ที่ได้รับการปลูกฝังจากสังคม ครอบครัว พ่อแม่ ทำให้ ผู้วิจัยต้องดำเนินชีวิตภายใต้กรอบความรู้ความเชื่อเหล่านี้ เป็นอุดมคติที่ทำให้ผู้วิจัย "ติดอยู่ในความดี" ผลที่ตามมาก็คือ เมื่อ ตนเองหรือผู้อื่นทำสิ่งต่างๆ ไม่ถึงเกณฑ์ของความดีเหล่านั้น จะไม่พอใจตนเองและหรือคนอื่น ผู้วิจัยได้เห็นชัดว่า ความ ทุกข์ใจทั้งหลายมาจาก "การติดดี" ที่กีดขวางไม่ให้เข้าถึงภาวะองค์รวม การเรียนรู้ในกระบวนการจิตวิทยาการปรึกษา นำ ให้ปัญญาเกิดขึ้นกับผู้วิจัยที่ทำให้สามารถมั่นคง อยู่กับภาวะเจ็บป่ วยและการสูญเสียแม่ ซึ่งเป็นภาวะวิกฤติยิ่งในชีวิต ทำให้ ผู้วิจัยเห็นคุณค่าและความหมายที่แท้จริงของชีวิตได้ ผู้วิจัยได้พบว่า การเข้าถึงความเข้าใจในภาวะองค์รวมอย่างแท้จริง เกิดขึ้นเมื่อเข้าใจในหลักธรรมอริยสัจ 4 ทำให้หลอมรวมชีวิตเป็นเนื้อเดียวกัน การวิจัยของผู้วิจัยจึงสรุปได้ว่า ความเข้าใจในภาวะองค์รวมของผู้วิจัยแตกต่างไปจากเดิม ผู้วิจัยเข้าใจใหม่ว่า องค์รวมที่แท้นั้น หมายถึง การมองเห็นความจริงแท้ของความเชื่อมโยงกันของสรรพสิ่ง อย่างเป็นเนื้อเดียวกัน สิ่งที่ปิดกั้นการเห็นความเป็นเนื้อเดียวกันนั้นคือ การ "ยึด" ในความเชื่อ ความรู้ ที่แยกเป็นส่วนๆ ออกไปจากกัน การเกิดขึ้นของประสบการณ์ที่พิเศษของความรู้สึกหลอมรวมกันของสรรพสิ่ง (state of integration) ทำให้เกิดภาวะจิตใจที่แจ่มใสที่จะรับรู้ความจริงรอบๆตัว และภายในตัวได้อย่างมีสมาธิและมีความเข้าใจ ทำให้เกิดความสุขอย่างสงบส่งผลให้การดำเนินชีวิตการเป็นครูแพทย์เป็นไปอย่างมีคุณค่าความหมาย

This research studied the results of self-reflection on the researcher's journey as a Medical Teacher. The researcher adopted "First Person Research" paradigm by using Heuristic Research as methodology. The data were collected from various documents: personal journals, contemplative journals, reports and documents in pursuit of her Master Degree in Contemplative Education, and her work as a medical teacher. The data was analyzed and presented by narrative approach. The result showed that the researcher tried to search for what was missing in education and the public health system: psychological and spiritual dimensions and combination with personal interests in Theravada Buddhism teachings and practice. The researcher applied what she learned in contemplative education classes using selfreflection based on The Four Noble Truths map (Ariyasacca) as the main tool to comprehend her inner and outer world. As a result, she found that her habitual pattern was her main obstacle within, which the researcher calls "attachment to the good", influenced by her family and society. The researcher had to live her life under the control of these knowledge and beliefs. She imprisoned herself in a frame of good things without noticing her ideology. This resulted in self blaming, self dissatisfaction and dissatisfaction towards others. The researcher clearly understands that all suffering comes from attachment to the good and obstructs reaching holism. Buddhist counseling group gave wisdom to the researcher, made her was stable when her mother passed away, which has become the most essential turning point in her life when she realized the fact of life, accepted the uncertainty of it, and was profoundly aware of the value of life. The researcher found that understanding of true holism can happen upon realization of the four noble truths, fusing all dimensions of her life to the oneness. In conclusion , the researcher had different understanding about meaning of holism. Actually holism mean perceive the connection of everything homogeneously. The obstruction is attachment on beliefs and fragmented knowledge. From this extraordinary experience on state of integration it caused her mind to be fresh and aware of reality that is all around being more focused and having more understanding. These experiences make the researcher live her life with more meaningfully and more valuably as a Medical Teacher.
