การวิเคราะห์แนวคิดเรื่อง กุศล ของท่านโพธิธรรม

Abstract

การวิจัยครั้งนี้มีจุดประสงค์เพื่อศึกษาแนวคิดเรื่อง "กุศล" ของท่านโพธิธรรม พระ สังฆปริณายกองค์แรกแห่งพุทธศาสนานิกายฌานประเทศจีน การศึกษาใช้วิธีการวิเคราะห์และ ตีความคำสอนใน ประชุมบทนิพนธ์ว่าด้วยคำสอนของท่านโพธิธรรม ซึ่งนักประวัติศาสตร์ค้นพบ ต้นฉบับได้จากถ้ำตุนหวงทางตอนเหนือของประเทศจีนเมื่อต้นศตวรรษที่ยี่สิบ การศึกษาครั้งนี้ พิจารณาแนวคิดของท่านโพธิธรรมจากการตอบปัญหาของจักรพรรดิเหลียงอู่ตี้ที่ว่า"อะไรเป็น กุศล?"คำตอบของท่านโพธิธรรมว่า "ไม่มี" มีนักคิดหลายท่านเห็นว่าคำตอบดังกล่าวเป็นปริศนา ธรรม แต่จากผลการศึกษาประชุมบทนิพนธ์ฯ ยืนยันว่าไม่มีสิ่งอันเป็นกุศล ใครก็ตามที่พยายามแสวง หาสิ่งอันประเสริฐจะไม่มีทางหาพบ เพราะสิ่งที่เขาค้นหานั้นเป็นสุญญตา ดังนั้น คำตอบของท่าน โพธิธรรม ความจริงแล้วตรงไปตรงมาไม่มีอะไรซับซ้อนและไม่มีอะไรที่เป็นปริศนาธรรม

This research aims to study the concept "kusala" of Bodhidharma, the first Patriarch of Chan Buddhism. This study analyzes and interprets the Bodhidharma Anthology, which was discovered in the Tun-huang cave complex in Northeast China in the early twentieth century. The study starts from consideration of his reply to Emperor Wu's question, "What is kusala?" Bodhidharma's answer was "none whatsoever." Thinkers believe such answer is a dhamma riddle. The study shows that the Bodhidharma Anthology asserts there is no kusala. Whoever tries to search for the supreme goodness is destined to fail. That is because what he looks for is sunnata. Therefore, Bodhidharma's answer is straightforward. Nothing is hidden and no riddle is given.
