การศึกษาวิเคราะห์พุทธจริยธรรมที่ปรากฎในประเพณีสงกรานต์ของชาวมอญ : กรณีศึกษา มอญปากลัด อำเภอพระประแดง จังหวัดสมุทรปราการ

Abstract

การศึกษาครั้งนี้มีวัตถุประสงค์เพื่อ 1. เพื่อศึกษาประเพณีสงกรานต์ 4 ภาคของไทย 2. เพื่อศึกษาประเพณีสงกรานต์มอญปากลัด จังหวัดสมุทรปราการ และพุทธจริยธรรมที่ปรากฏในประเพณี 3. ศึกษาความเหมือนและความแตกต่างระหว่างประเพณีสงกรานต์มอญปากลัด จังหวัดสมุทรปราการ และ สงกรานต์ของไทย 4 ภาค 4. เพื่อศึกษาแนวโน้มการเปลี่ยนแปลงและแนวทางส่งเสริมประเพณีสงกรานต์มอญ การศึกษาวิจัยนี้เป็นการวิจัยเชิงคุณภาพ (Qualitative research) โดยศึกษาค้นคว้าข้อมูลทางเอกสารและการวิจัยภาคสนาม ผลการวิจัยพบว่า ประเพณีสงกรานต์ของชาวมอญปากลัด เป็นประเพณีที่มีกระบวนการถ่ายทอดทางวัฒนธรรมซึ่งสืบทอดปฏิบัติกันมาจากคนรุ่นหนึ่งสู่รุ่นหนึ่ง ภายในประเพณีสงกรานต์เต็มไปด้วยคติความเชื่อ โดยมีพื้นฐานทางความเชื่อส่วนหนึ่งมาจากความศรัทธาในคำสอนทางพุทธศาสนา และความเชื่ออีกส่วนหนึ่งมาจากการนับถือผี จึงเป็นรากฐานที่สำคัญ ในประเพณีสงกรานต์มอญ ทุกกิจกรรมมีการสอดแทรกพุทธจริยธรรมปรากฏอยู่เพื่อเป็นคติสอนใจแก่ลูกหลานชาวมอญทั้งยังสร้างจริยธรรมให้แก่บุคคล ความเหมือนและความแตกต่าง ของประเพณีสงกรานต์ของมอญกับไทยเกิดจากตำนานของธรรมบาล ได้แก่ 1. ประเพณีสงกรานต์ของมอญกับไทยทั้งสองวัฒนธรรมเชื่อในตำนานเรื่องธรรมบาลกุมารเหมือนกัน 2. ระยะเวลาของการจัดงาน 3. ส่วนของกิจกรรม 4. การแต่งกายที่เป็นเอกลักษณ์ ประเพณีสงกรานต์มอญมีแนวโน้มว่าจะเปลี่ยนแปลงคือ จะมีรายระเอียดต่าง ๆ ของประเพณีไปตามยุคสมัย แต่มีการส่งเริมให้คนทั่วไปรู้จักมากขึ้นถือเป็นความภาคภูมิใจของชาวมอญและ เป็นประโยชน์ควรค่าแก่การสืบสานต่อไป

This research aimed 1. To study the Songkran tradition in 4 regions of Thailand, 2. To study the Songkran tradition of Mon at Parklad, Phrapradaeng District, Samut Prakan Province and Buddhist ethical principles appeared in the Songkran tradition, 3. To study the Similarities and differences between the Songkran tradition of Mon at Parklad and the Songkran tradition of 4 regions in Thailand , and 4. To study on changing trends and promotion to the Songkran tradition of Mon. This study was a documentary research by studying from data and field research. Research results revealed that the Songkran tradition of Mon at Parklad was transferred and practiced from generation to generation. Within the Songkran tradition, it is full of belief based on Buddhism, including belief of Animism. This is important foundation of the Songkran tradition of Mon. All activities are implanted with Buddhist ethics to be moral and ethical principle for Mon people. The similarities and the differences of Songkran Mon and Songkran Thai traditions 1. origins of both Songkran tradition of Thai and Mon started from the legendary of Dhambal , 2. The duration of event of the Songkran tradition, 3. Part of activities, and 4. The dresses that are unique. The Songkran Mon tradition may change in the long term, but the public should promote the tradition of Songkran so that people will learn more about the origin of Songkran and be proud and it is worthy to continually inherit in the future.
