Causal factors related to administration of E-sports clubs in Thailand

Abstract

The objectives of this quantitative research are 1) to investigate selected factors related to administration of eSports clubs in Thailand, and 2) to investigate causal factors related to administration of eSports clubs in Thailand. This research used a questionnaire survey to collect data. Path analysis was applied to analyze the obtained data. The results of the study were as follows. 1) The selected factors directly related to administration of eSports clubs in Thailand, which were significant at 0.05 level, were government agencies, private sector, infrastructure, caster or streamer, variety of game types, eSports competition, economy, society and culture, and technology. These factors could predict administration of eSports clubs in Thailand at about 34.3 percent. 2) The causal factors directly related to administration of eSports clubs in Thailand, which were significant at 0.05 level, were government agencies, society and culture, eSports competition, infrastructure, variety of game types, private sector, technology and caster or streamer. These factors could predict administration of eSports clubs in Thailand at about 33.8 percent.

การวิจัยเรื่อง “ปัจจัยที่มีความสัมพันธ์เชิงสาเหตุกับการบริหารจัดการสโมสรอีสปอร์ตอาชีพในประเทศไทย” เป็นการวิจัยเชิงปริมาณ วัตถุประสงค์ในการวิจัย คือ 1) เพื่อศึกษาปัจจัยคัดสรรที่มีความสัมพันธ์เชิงสาเหตุกับการบริหารจัดการสโมสรอีสปอร์ตอาชีพในประเทศไทย 2) เพื่อศึกษาปัจจัยเชิงสาเหตุกับการบริหารจัดการสโมสรอีสปอร์ตอาชีพในประเทศไทย ผู้วิจัยเก็บข้อมูลโดยการเก็บแบบสอบถาม (Questionnaire) และวิเคราะห์ข้อมูลด้วยวิธีวิเคราะห์เส้นทาง (Path analysis) ผลการวิจัยพบว่าปัจจัยคัดสรรที่ส่งผลทางตรงอย่างมีนัยสำคัญทางสถิติที่ระดับ0.05 กับการบริหารจัดการสโมสรอีสปอร์ตอาชีพในประเทศไทย ประกอบไปด้วย หน่วยงานภาครัฐ, องค์กรเอกชน, โครงสร้างพื้นฐาน, นักแคสเกมและสตรีมเมอร์, ความหลากหลายของประเภทเกม, การแข่งขันกีฬาอีสปอร์ต, เศรษฐกิจ, สังคมและวัฒนธรรมและ เทคโนโลยี และสามารถทำนายการบริหารจัดการสโมสรอีสปอร์ตอาชีพในประเทศไทยได้ประมาณร้อยละ 34.3ปัจจัยเชิงสาเหตุที่ส่งผลทางตรงอย่างมีนัยสำคัญทางสถิติที่ระดับ0.05 กับการบริหารจัดการสโมสรอีสปอร์ตอาชีพในประเทศไทย ได้แก่ หน่วยงานภาครัฐ, สังคมและวัฒนธรรม, การแข่งขันกีฬาอีสปอร์ต, โครงสร้างพื้นฐาน, ความหลากหลายของประเภทเกม, องค์กรเอกชน เทคโนโลยี และนักแคสเกมและสตรีมเมอร์ตามลำดับ และสามารถทำนายการบริหารจัดการสโมสรอีสปอร์ตอาชีพในประเทศไทยได้ประมาณร้อยละ 33.8
