The evaluation of the voluntary sport development programme management and community participation in Singburi province

Abstract

The objective of the thematic paper is to evaluate the managerial-administration process, planning, organization management, employment, management or administration, and job control of a practical group in voluntary sport development. The other objective is to study of community participation in the voluntary sport development program in Singburi province. The information was collected from two groups : 21 volunteers from the sport development program and 88 from community committees. The total of 109 people were analyzed by percentages, mean, and standard deviation. The research showed that the practical group had different ideas to the managerial administration about the voluntary sport development program. The total average value for the practical group was good. ((X) =2.45). Moreover, it had been considered from different viewpoints such as average values of planning, organizing, employment, administration, and controlling. These are also good. ((X) = 2.15, 2.59, 2.41, 2.59 and as following 2.6). The community committees opinion of the voluntary Sport Development Program in Singburi province had a high average value. ((X) =3.29). Furthermore, this has been considered from different viewpoints such as average values in initiating and planning, implementation, and budget control. The result is also high ((X) = 3.32, 3.26, and 3.28 as following). The study provides information that any executive will be able to use as a guide in their planning and implementation of sport development programs.;
