This pilot study explores the effectiveness of Feed to Save, a STEM-integrated board game designed to promote upper secondary students' understanding of nutrition and the prevention of noncommunicable diseases (NCDs). Twenty-eight international students participated in a structured 90 -minute workshop involving gameplay, reflection, and discussion. A mixed-methods approach was employed to assess knowledge construction and student perceptions. Results indicated that all students (100%) recognized the link between diet and NCDs, with 85.7% demonstrating awareness of sugar, salt, and fat intake, and 60.7% applying scientific reasoning to food choices. Students described the game as informative (50.0%) and engaging (46.4%), although some (21.4%) reported initial confusion. Feedback suggested improvements in gameplay clarity and digital integration. Overall, the findings highlight the potential of board game-based learning to strengthen STEM literacy by fostering scientific thinking and informed health decision making.
