dc.description.abstract | P.S. Moulding Industrial Company Limited is a manufacturer for construction/decoration products made of Polystyrene. The company is a family-owned business, established in 2012. Products are mainly focused on skirting and cornice as a construction material for house decoration. Various shapes and sizes are offered in wide ranges to respond to different demands and preferences whether small rooms like a bathroom to a very large living room. The objectives for the research are the following: To identify and validate market demands in end-users to create and extend business opportunities for this very specific market (B2C) without having to go through intermediaries, to validate demands, explore purchasing behavior, and explore market preferences (4P) if sub-contractors are interested in gaining benefits from purchasing directly from the manufacturers. With the qualitative method, 15-30 participants who used to be the contacts or customers were randomly selected. For quantitative method, 400 participants were randomly selected from Facebook Page's followers. Both interviews for qualitative insights and questionnaires for quantitative insights were divided into screening questions and general questions to fulfill the research objectives. All the insights including income and experience as customers were the information used to validate the demands in the market and to approach more on the end-user segment customers for business expansion for P.S.
